Why is personal branding important? When you ask yourself this question, also ask yourself what comes to your mind when you think of Coca-Cola, Nike, and McDonald's - they are all brands but they each have a distinct message that immediately resonates with people when they see that image. I recently read that Donald Trump was the only billionaire that is recognized solely by his brand name. The name is so powerful the corporations come far and wide to attempt to partner with him to share in the power and prestige of the Trump name.

The world of internet marketing, direct sales, or whatever terminology you want to use is no different. People want to be on the wining team they want to be silently lead. Establishing your brand image is important. In fact, its extremely essential for business success one of the reasons Starbucks is such a successful company is because the gourmet coffee makes there customers feel like there upwardly mobile and successful. The ability to tap that one emotional response gives Starbucks the ability to generate millions of dollars off of caramel latte's. Now you have to ask yourself what emotional responses does your company trigger in the public when they see your company logo or brand. What are the characteristics and message that your company stands by?

The internet is overflowing today with scams and Ponzi schemes. People who are genuinely looking for a alternate means of escaping the corporate rat race and taking control of their lives are out there in search of someone like you how will you reach out and touch them? How will you plant the seed of trust in their minds and let them know that you really do care about their well being. The most important thing is to step outside of yourself and realize that you are providing a service to people. Your job is to enrich other peoples lives through your company but first you have to separate yourself from the heard.
