How I Chose My Internet Marketing Company

I was primarily looking for an internet marketing company that had good training and a strong reputation for success. I have been working over the last several months at transitioning my mindset from being a life-long employee to starting and building my own business, ultimately putting me in control of my own destiny. Many successful people, including Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, have said that starting a business in Network Marketing is ideal because it will teach you how to build a business, how to sell yourself,sell product, and how to take rejection.

How I Chose My Internet Marketing Company

I researched many opportunities when I went looking for a direct sales and Internet Marketing company to start my new business venture. There are many available, from the traditional Network Marketing and Multi-Level Marketing companies to those companies doing Internet Marketing. I was primarily looking for an internet marketing company that had good training and a strong reputation for success. I have been working over the last several months at transitioning my mindset from being a life-long employee to starting and building my own business, ultimately putting me in control of my own destiny. Many successful people, including Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, have said that starting a business in Network Marketing is ideal because it will teach you how to build a business, how to sell yourself and sell product, and how to take rejection. What you need for this is training - and the company you choose has to have a good training program and be willing to work with you until you are successful. After many hours of research, I found and ultimately chose a company to work with that met all of my requirements. They are a direct sales company using Internet Marketing to sell product. They use a combination social media, pay-per-click marketing, and targeted website techniques, and they had a formula for moving product that earns some people five to six figures monthly (net profit). The company also works hard to help others, has created multiple millionaires and has helped thousands of others launch and build their own business and become successful entrepreneurs.

As my research continued, I found that these numbers and success stories were not just created - the company provided notary-validated bank statement numbers. Additionally I found that their training program was quite extensive, and that there was a training program and community support system that fostered an environment of success and leadership. Also intriguing was the product that they sold, and the fact that they sold so much of it. The company functions as the sales and marketing arm of a top-tier financial education company, founded by an ex-Wall Street investment banker and is based in Texas. For me, this was a perfect fit - having increased my financial education over the last several months, selling a related product would only help educate me more.

There was an application process that I went through to learn more about the products sold. After going through this process I understood that by requiring you to apply before providing details about the exact products sold, the company was accomplishing two things. One, you are forced to declare a certain amount of interest and commitment before a representative will take time to answer the numerous questions I had about the product. Second, it keeps the focus on you. Moving forward with this company was not a decision that I made around product specifications or systems analysis. It is always easy when making a potential life-changing decision to act emotionally, look at the details and miss the larger significance of the decision. Going through this process showed me, a somewhat stubborn skeptic, that my success would come in the form of taking advantage of what they had to offer me and by replicating the success their other members. This kept the focus on me and making sure I knew what I was really looking for, and made sure that I was ready to make a change, ready to set new goals for myself and work towards achieving them.

I also knew that get rich quick schemes were just that - schemes. Nowhere did I hear or read that this company was a get a rich quick scheme. Unanimously what I heard was that you will learn a lot, replicate the success of others, and work hard to attain your goals. The clincher for me in taking the step from research to getting on board was that if you apply and then decide that you cannot stand behind them or their partner product, there is a 30-day money back guarantee. Applying does not lock you into anything. But the application will ask you to define some goals for yourself, and hopefully at a minimum you will lock yourself into those.

After joining and subsequently starting my own business in a very short period of time, I have been extremely happy with my decision. There is more training available than I can manage. The system is completely replicable, and the steps that are in place are replicating the success of others. There is a strong sense of community and helping others. I have not run across an unfriendly or unhelpful person. I now have a business off the ground and running in a very short period of time that is fun, challenging, and full of opportunities for success.

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
