Internet Marketing systems and direct sales products for making money online are bountiful. Many are turnkey and ready right out of the box, ready to make you a successful entrepreneur. While there are many success stories about internet marketers making good money online and running successful businesses, there are many more failures. Going into an online business is not get rich quick. It requires effort, dedication, focus, and a good mindset. Here are 5 reasons why people fail when using internet marketing to make money online, consider them and plan to overcome them before you jump into the business feet first.

  1. Mindset. They say success in business is 90 % mindset, 10% execution. That is pretty powerful. Most of life is spent living with a mindset that was formed at a young age, may have varied slightly over time, but nothing drastically different as you get older. Then change happens and the wrong mindset exists. Going into internet marketing is not get rich quick. It takes time and hard work to build a foundation. It takes a belief will be successful and that failure is not an option. It requires a stronger belief in you than ever before. To be successful making money online, ensure you have the proper expectations and mindset to put in the time and work hard at your business.
  2. Mission. Without a mission statement in place, branding, advertising taglines, biographies, and social media outlets are marketing efforts that will not reflect your target market or what you have to offer. Getting into the internet marketing business is exciting, but really sit down and take the time to think about what it is you have to offer others, and how you can provide value to others and your community. Then create a mission statement that clearly states your objectives and how you want to represent yourself in the business. This way after you have developed your story, write biographies on websites, and post to groups in social media outlets, you will give a consistent branded message that will be associated with you as an individual.
  3. Focus. It is extremely important to stay focused on the task at hand. The internet is a big place, and there are hundreds of options and ways to market your opportunity. Social media can be distracting but remember you are in a social network for your business, do not waste time there. Pick one or two marketing efforts to master. Spend a few days then move on to one or two more. Stay focused on quick wins and smart strategies that will keep your business growing.
  4. Generosity. No one wants to be sold to. What they do want is an opportunity to learn from someone generous with their time and wisdom. When it comes to purchasing they want to make their own decisions, pressure free. So don’t be a seller – be generous with your knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm and you will have more success with your prospects.
  5. Time. Internet marketing is a business and needs to be treated as such if you want to be successful. It needs to be nurtured and fed until it is a smooth running machine. Set aside time every day to give to your business. Your actions today determine what you can accomplish tomorrow. Write out a schedule for the day and stick to it. Take frequent breaks and pay attention to all parts of your life. But the time you give to your business needs to be used wisely. Putting things off until tomorrow puts your opportunity to make money online one day further out of reach.
These are 5 challenges that I have faced and overcome where others have faced and failed. Having the proper foundation in place with advance knowledge of what to expect to give to your internet marketing business will make you more successful in the long run.

I think in Online Marketing company online presence can be a wining factor for the success of the company.

Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
