Certain businesses and there online marketing strategies are geared towards specific things and does not apply to all online businesses. The Internet is so powerful and the web grows deeper and deeper the further you get into it. With that said lets talk about someonline marketing strategiesthat really work.

Tip #1 -PPC-Also known as pay per click advertising is rated up in the top 3 of online marketing depending on your budget and is a incredible way to drive traffic to websites,blogs,1 page landing pages virtually anything you place a ad too. But however even though this a great way to generate traffic there is very stringent set of rules one must follow to be successful.

The major ppc campaigns are with google being #1 and yahoo and bing coming up in the rear. For people that are new and intermediate with online marketing strategies should start out with yahoo and bing which is less strict and have success. Google on the other hand is for more of the advanced marketer because of the guidelines and rules set by google. They are very specific on what they want and if you do not adhere to rules and regulations your efforts will be wasted.

Tip #2 -Ezines- essentially a ezine is a newsletter or magazine in which people are subscribed to.

The list could be 5,000 to 100,000 members and with one click your opportunity or products is presented to a lot of people very quickly. This method of online marketing is highly targeted to a specific group of people very interested in buying if the offer and advertising is right. There are several ways in which to get your message across and those are:

• Classified ad-3 to 5 lines long between 60-65 characters each
• Sponsor ad-top rated ad with the word sponsor in it 7-12 lines long
• Top sponsor ad-located at the top of page very visible much more exposure
• Middle sponsor ad-located usually after first article in newsletter
• Bottom sponsor ad-located at bottom separated by the classified ads
• Solo ad-this ad goes directly to subscribers and is only thing they see. It is much longer than any

other type of ad! A sales letter directed to your offer.
As you can see there are several ways this strategy can be very effective with your online marketing and the customers are very targeted to specific things or niches. The prices very too low cost on up to a more premium price depending on which type of ad that is placed.

Tip #3 -Video Marketing is another great way of advertising because humans are more visual by nature. If you have a small budget and be camera positive this can reach millions of customers and be very successful. One word of advice if you want be to buy from you look presentable in the video. If not then your target market is going to be limited. Also there are a lot of things you can do with video or even outsource your video advertising on a small budget, but if money is not a big concern you can have Hollywood style videos at a medium price.

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.

Those are all just "internet marketing" as far as I am concerned. And I normally would have voted for internet marketing, however I chose social media marketing simply because there are more than enough IM forums out there already.
