MLM opportunity seekers have jumped on the technology wagon and are using the internet to find clients and consumers interested in their products. MLM marketing is widely recognized as the fastest growing industry in the world that can boast millionaires being made daily.

The income figures that are reported in these MLM companies are incredible, and the top earners enthusiastically tell you how “easy” it was and how little time it took to reach their level. Those of us who have recruited soon realize that there must be some secret they are not telling us, or else we just don’t have the talent for it.

What Goes Wrong?

All people new to network marketing are excited to build their business and have every intention of giving it the attention it deserves. Yet many fail, lose enthusiasm, and become disenchanted with the whole idea, and especially if they have invested a lot of money, they feel like a sucker.

When friends and relatives begin going the other way when they are approached, these new entrepreneurs realize that they must look elsewhere for those critical leads that will eventually build their downline and to replace those who quit.

The Internet Comes to the Rescue

Thanks to sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, people are able to connect with others in an environment that allows companionship at a distance with people who have friends and interests in common. Once established as a “regular” on a site, network marketers have a tremendous opportunity to develop contacts with people who have a similar interest in the type of product or service that the marketer is offering.

The door to more leads opens and people actually begin seeking out the marketer for more information about their company. No longer is it necessary to have parties where nobody shows up, or being stood up for appointments, or having an inventory of product to sell that sits on the shelf. You have already overcome the first hurdle – you’ve tweaked their interest!

Interested People Come to You

Your friends that you make on Twitter and Facebook know what you do from your profile, and from subtle remarks you make on your daily posting. Their curiosity is piqued and they begin asking you for more information. This sure beats cold selling, because the interest is already there. You can even do videos on YouTube to make the connection more personal. Skype is also a useful tool to keep in touch on a personal basis with your newly acquired downline.

If you have hesitated on starting your own MLM business because of the difficulty of obtaining leads, you need not worry. Use the technology that is available in social marketing, and you will have people coming to you!

Franchising 'where to advertise?' - Great Forum. It took me a while to find you, but well worth the efforts... I'm launching a Business Opportunity and I have a few questions that I'm pondering. Mainly where to advertise and what online directories to target. directoryfranchise.com looks good, but I have no idea if they're worth the cost. They want 99.00-199.00 to list my site at up to 40 different listing sites. franchisegator.com and franchiseopportunities.com look solid... any suggestions? I'm currently devoting a significant amount of my time writing articles and plan to submit to the article directories. I'm already seeing good results from the few articles that I have released. My site is up and I have most of the puzzle pieces in place. Any comments on the site, and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Fed rate cuts . . . - So just what do the newest Fed rate cuts mean to Franchise and Business Opportunity investing? Is it immediately felt? What timeframe do you think, or rather, where are we in terms of new vs. existing business investment? A similar question can be composed for the economic stimulus checks - will they a have any effect if consumers spend a little $$
