4 Ways to Market your Business with a Low Budget

You can make a lot of money as an online entrepreneur even if don’t have thousands of dollars to invest. I will share with you marketing tools I use every day and make money with my online business.

Especially when you are starting your own online business, money may not be available. After all you are starting a business in the hope to make money. Now there is an old saying that says "It takes money to make money". In our business, that is totally false. I am personally proof of that. You can make a lot of money as an online entrepreneur even if don't have thousands of dollars to invest. I will share with you marketing tools I use every day and make money with my online business.

Let's start with the free advertising methods. The social medias are your most valuable marketing tools. They are free and they will generate an income for you as long as you are consistent. You have Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, MySpace and others. You can build relationship with other people using social medias and create quite a good revenue share. These Social medias are also great for branding yourself. People get to see your picture and videos and get to know you as you communicate with them.

Also free is Article and Press Release marketing. Writing an article may look like it is difficult but it is not. After you wrote a few and you start getting the feel for it. You will slowly become an expert and also be seen as an expert in your field. Some of the websites that are very well viewed are Ezine, EvanCarmichael, BetterNetworker and others. They are all free to publish and you have the possibility to be seen by thousands of readers. If you have a $70 budget a month to invest in your article marketing , there is some distribution websites that will publish your articles to thousands of websites and you can publish as many articles as you want.

You can also use video marketing. This is probably the most powerful marketing tool online. The power of seeing someone teach or tell you about a certain subject is greater than any other marketing tool you will use. You can post your videos on YouTube and other websites. Also, just like article marketing, for a small monthly fee, you can use a distribution website and they will send your videos to thousands of websites to be viewed by thousands of people.

Email marketing is the last marketing method we will discuss today. This is a little more costly but still affordable. Usually, when you get involve with email marketing, you will be with a website that deals directly with other online business entrepreneur. All your advertisements will be send to people that are online marketers as well. This method is very powerful as well because you are only advertising to people that want to earn an income online. With other marketing methods, not everyone is looking for your type of offer but in email marketing, they are. You can use Viralurl, ListJoe, ViralHost and others. The cost is about $200-$400 every 6 months.

These are methods I use personally and work very well. If you apply these techniques well and consistently, you will start seeing results in your business as well. Start with one, become good at it and then go to the next one, and the next one. Soon, you will see your income grow and grow and then you can move to other marketing methods if you so desire.

My entry - 1. The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Re: How should i promote a new website? - ignore this message IF it's already been stated. I haven't had a chance to read all the replies and i have to jet from the office... I suggest marketing where ever your Target Market congregates. If it's a forum of concerned parents - go there. Strike up a deal with the forum owner (JV) and have him promote it to the list of members (Integration Marketing). If you want to go with Forums then i would partner with a parent who is a frequent poster/moderator on a particular Target Market Forum and have him/her add your link to their signature. That was just a thought but it's not as intense once you get buy in from the Forum owner or high ranked poster/moderator. Hope that sparks some new ideas.
