All The Training in the World will not Improve your Business

All The Training in the World will not Improve your Business

With the number of business opportunities']);"> online business opportunities available today, I see more and more people just trying to get as much knowledge as possible thinking that the more they know the more successful they will be. There is a reason why the smartest people in the world are not the riches people or the happiest. So all the training in the world will not help you if you don't practice what you've learned.

We've all heard the expression "Knowledge is power" Well; I am here to tell you that that statement is certainly not always true. It only becomes powerful when you practice what you have learned and it becomes your way of thinking, your way of doing business.

If you make your knowledge part of your daily habits then it can become power. The solution to become successful is you, not the information. Now having the information certainly will not hurt you , but understand that it is only part of the recipe. Reading 1, 2 or even 3 books a week will not help you. In fact, it will be destructive to your goals of acquiring knowledge. When in taking so much information, you will end up suffering of what I call "excess information" and will be totally lost on what to do next.

Instead, choose a good book or training book and focus on a few chapters a week. Start putting in place what you have learned and repeat as needed. It is said that it takes 21 days to form a habit so you will need to focus on those new habits for that period or until it becomes what you are and what you do.

Some exercise you could do to make your new tasks a habit could be, write an article about the subject, make a video, Google it and read more about it, become an expert and practice it every day. At the end of day, take 10 minutes and evaluate yourself, did you follow your new habits? And do it all over again the next day.

It is all about you. The successful entrepreneurs are not the smartest or most knowledgeable people in their industry. They focus on certain areas and become an expert. They surround themselves with the smartest people they can find. One thing that all successful entrepreneurs have in common is they can see the big picture. They can see the end result before they get started and what it will take to get there.

Do you know what it will take you to get where you want to be? Knowledge may be power but your "will" is King.

Looking for creative  ideas Looking for creative ideas - I’m a student of Business management. I have been given a task by a local business to Improve there marketing to increase their sales, after a drop in interest in a certain service. The Business is a Local Health and leisure centre and is currently suffering from a drop in sales and interest in the adult swimming service. The Business have suffered from a drop in sales by nearly 50% in the past two years. They have asked me to create a business plan and an idea to how they can improve their marketing and increase their sales in adult swimming sessions. I am posting on here, to seek advice on any ideas that you may have about how a small leisure centre can increase sales in the adult swimming market. Any ideas would be welcome as I am currently struggling to come up with an idea that is very effective and cheap to carry out, so any ideas would be welcome. Hope I have given you enough basic info, don't hesitate to ask if you need more information. Again any ideas would be very welcome and I would appreciate your help. I will be looking forward to hearing some of your ideas. Looking for a quick reply as i have not got long to complete the task and organise my presentation to local businesses. The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
Budget. Budget. - I believe the biggest barrier is related to budget. Training tends to be a normal practice for a big company. But I have to consider it seriously as an entrepreneur.
