What you may not know is the Social Medias should not be about selling your products or services but selling you as a leader, as an expert in your field. Places like Twitter and Facebook are the most popular but you can also use Linkedin and MySpace.

Other free internet marketing strategies would be blog marketing, forum marketing, classified, article, video, press releases, Squidoo, Hub Pages and your warm market (Friends, family members and professionals you know). These are all great effective internet marketing strategies to market your business and your brand.

There are several low budget internet marketing strategies that can help you build your business as well. If you want to get more exposure from your free internet marketing. You can pay a small fee to get your article, press release, video and classifieds to be published and get a bigger exposure. These sites that will host your marketing will place you ahead of everyone not paying and therefore provide you with more exposure and more potential customers. Usually between $20 and $100 will do the trick here.

You can use banner advertising for a low cost internet marketing strategy. You can get your banner up on many sites for less than $100 per month and get around 1 million impressions. Email marketing is also quite an effective internet marketing strategy. You can use some of the best sites for around $200 per 6 months and advertise directly to other entrepreneurs. And believe it or not, you can use Pay Per Click as a low cost advertisement strategy by setting your budget to meet what you can afford. It can be done per day and per month.

To learn where are some of the best sites to use your low cost internet marketing strategies. You can use Google, Yahoo and Bing search engines. They will place on their 1^st page which one they think is the best site. Remember that success with your home based business is not related to how much money you have to invest in your marketing but on how much work you are willing into put in your business. All the internet marketing strategies listed work very well. All you have to do is learn how to put them in place. This can only be done via education and testing what you learn. If you are really committed to your success remember this. If you could doing the same thing the same way over and over and expect different results, you are insane. Keep learning and testing and eventually success will find you. Don't give up on your dreams, don't ever give up.

Whether you use broadcast, print, event marketing, cause marketing, PPC or other internet marketing strategies makes no difference. Your strategy needs to include all the appropriate different outlets. And 'appropriate' is defined by more than just where your market can be found - your budget is also an important factor. The Expedia example is a good one - they do a lot of PPC advertising, but they don't rely on that alone - I see their billboards everywhere, ads in magazines and commercials on TV and radio. That makes sense, they are a business to consumer type of company and they have the budget. However, let's say you are a smaller company or a startup selling B2B, focused on the small business market. With a limited budget, 'traditional' off line advertising can be priced out of your range, but with PPC you can create an advertising campaign that fits your limited budget. Something you might not have been able to do with local print or broadcast media. And depending on your local market and the product/service niche you are in, it might be fairly easy to obtain organic search results. So in this case it would make sense to spend your limited budget on online marketing, strictly from an ROI point of view. Later, when you have the budget a mix of the two would make sense if you can reach your target market through traditional media. The reality is that most people reach for the computer to look up information these days, and if you're not there being found - your potential client will find someone who is. That means that part of ANY marketing strategy that includes advertising needs to have some kind of online component to it.
How can I start home-based business? - Hi , there are several marketing strategies available in the internet. but have to decide the trusted one otherwise the result is u will loose ur time and u will never get the commission regularly. Also before get started with anything you have to learn much about that for that its better to surf on internet and you will find some good knowledge and how to increase your revenue using internet marketing. Re: How Much Money Do You Make Online? - Don't get me wrong Jeff, I think freely sharing information is great for business and should be done. That's why I have been a member of sooooooo many forums over the years (at least 100) and either currently moderate or have moderated at least 10 of them. But there is a big difference between giving people SEO techniques, article marketing strategies, internet marketing tips, affiliate marketing ideas, online business tactics, maybe even some niches, etc... etc... etc... And actually telling people your not-so-well-known niches that make you a lot of money or at least have the potential to do so. I will gladly help anyone with anything they want to know about internet marketing. But I am not going to flat out give them the niches that I worked long and hard finding, researching, writing content, creating a site, building backlinks, and everything else that goes along with finding and monetizing good niche. You're right most people won't pursue it anyway but you never know when all of the sudden you just created a TON of competition for yourself when all you had were good intentions to begin with.
