The negative here is that only 3% will succeed and become successful. There are steps you can follow to help you become a successful entrepreneur and get financial freedom.

Starting or building an online business has become quite popular now days. According to Forbes Magazine, 75% of Americans plans to start a business over the next 3 years. The negative here is that only 3% will succeed and become successful. There are steps you can follow to help you become a successful entrepreneur and get financial freedom.

As an online business owner, you must start by doing a self check. Are you 110% committed to your success? You may think well why start if you are not committed? A lot of people think they are committed but when they are both feet in, they realize it is not what they expected and they fold. Your commitment has to be the following.

• Willing to learn
• Willing to be taught
• Willing to follow a proven system
• Willing to put in the effort required
• Willing to invest the time
• Understand you will fail at first
• Have some capital to invest (you don't need a lot but realize that the least you invest, the longer it is going to take to get financial freedom)

Find a credible business that will offer you a legitimate chance to make an income that will help you achieve your financial goals. They are several types of online business. MLM, Affiliate marketing, Direct sales and GPT (get paid today). Before investing your hard earn money into any business, look for the following.

• Support of sponsor (Is your sponsor a mentor or just collecting a check)
• Sales Support (Team helping you make the sales)
• Quality and easy to understand training
• Best marketing strategies (Marketing that works today not 10 years ago)
• Compensation plan (are you getting 50% of 10$ for each sale or a fixed amount for each sale
• Products (a lot of products or just a few)
• Company track record (How long has the business been in business)
• Testimonies validated (Can they show proof of the testimonies)
• Are you going to have to sell your friends and family? (This may not be comfortable for some)

These steps may seem simple but can become complicated when you do your research. This will decide how fast you are successful with your business and become financially free.

The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
