Your Online Home Business Checklist

Starting an online home business is now something that thousands of people are doing and many more thousands if not millions are actually thinking about doing it. Traditional '9 to 5 rat race jobs' are no longer secure as they once were and even those who have some level of job security have an underlying fear that this may not be forever so to compensate for this they often find themselves working harder and longer hours in order to make themselves look indispensible to their employer. People are feeling stressed & fearful & all they are wanting to do is to provide as best they can for themselves and their loved ones. People are not only sick and tired of being at the beck and call of someone else but they are sick and tired of depending on the success of someone/something else to provide them with security. In short people have decided that enough is enough and they are now taking back responsibility for their own lives. They recognise that it is the quality of their lives that is most important and with the business opportunities now available for working from home people now see that they can have it all without having to rely on someone else.

The home business arena is flooded with home business opportunities ranging from direct sales where you get to hold home parties & pitch your family & friends (done that) to envelope stuffing, typing and then of course there are the online home businesses. The internet now provides the perfect medium for global business and the related technology provides the perfect system for allowing automation. The concept an automated online home business in a global marketplace provides an opportunity that has never been available before. In short online home businesses are now booming even in this era of recession.

So what do you need to look for when you are looking for the best vehicle to get you to where you want to be in your life? Just sit & consider for a few moments what you need & want from your life in the future. Write a list. I am betting that it would probably include that you want more time to spend with your family and to be able to do the things that you really want to do? You may want to spend a lot less time working but also be earning far more - right? Earning more money will allow you to enjoy your new found time and will allow you to do all those things you previously dreamed about such as long holidays in the sun, new house, new car etc. People today are looking at lifestyle design they want a life where they get to do the things they really enjoy.

So, when you write a wish list of your perfect new online business you are probably looking for something that is fairly easy to learn and fun to do. Something that is useful or helpful to others, something that is automated with its systems automated, something that pays very well, something that others want/need, something that uses the efforts of others to help you - this is called leverage. You may want something that allows you to work from any exotic beach you choose. Then you might be sitting looking at your list with a dreamy look in your eye thinking that it looks like a fairytale wish list.

However, wishes & dreams do come true to those who are prepared to take action when the opportunity presents its self. In fact those dreams can be exceeded because some of the opportunities now available on the internet provide all the elements required and more.

So that you recognise a great online home business opportunity when you see it you need to have a check list like this one to make sure that all the crucial elements are covered.

Fully automated systems (or as near as)

Serving the global market place

A successful mentor who is willing to teach you what they know to cut down your learning curve

Ongoing Internet Marketing education & training program as the internet is a dynamic living & breathing entity which is constantly changing. You need to know about the changes either before they happen or as they are happening , not after they happened.

The Best Business Books Ever: The 100 Most Influential Business Books You'll Never Have Time to Read - this is a fascinating book about the history of Business theory, and I'd recommend it to anybody. 2. The Big Book of Small Business: You Don't Have to Run Your Business by the Seat of Your Pants, by Tom Gegax. Ditto. 3. PADI: The Business of Diving Book Okay, so this book won't be of use to anyone who doesn't want to start a scuba store, but I did, and this book was of course invaluable to me in reaching that goal.
