I have some secrets that I’m going to reveal to you that absolutely will make a difference in your business because they are most certainly making a difference in mine. These secrets have been used by the best of the best of Internet Affiliates. These best of the best are the Internet marketers of today that have been responsible for the un-godly accumulation of wealth that’s been created in Internet Affiliate Marketing today.

First of all what is affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing as you may or may not know is the selling of other people’s stuff on the Internet and earning a commission. The problem with this is that for you to make money you don’t necessarily have to have the fountain of youth to sell to make money. The number one factor that sells anything is your marketing. McDonald’s really doesn’t have a good product. Those Big Macs, although delicious, make you fat and ugly and give you acne and hair in places you don’t normally have hair. And since it’s junk food filled with bad carbohydrates and sugar and fat, it robs you of energy.

But guess what?

With the “monster marketing” techniques McDonald’s employs they could sell a hooker to the pope. That’s the biggest secret of making it big on the Internet. McDonald’s is engraved in our subconscious because we see it absolutely everywhere you go. There’s a McDonald’s about every mile in a big city. That gives the McDonald’s corporation a really good chance of selling a Big Mac. McDonald’s is out there and it’s in your face. Just typing the word McDonald’s makes me hungry! That’s the way you have to get with your marketing. Not necessarily pushing yourself onto a customer but putting yourself out there enough that you will be recognized. Your marketing should consist of 90% of your work time. Traffic is key.

Another thing I want to impress upon you is that everybody is marketing products that are similar to one another. Some are worth more than others. Then there are the priceless ones!

There are a lot of people that don’t make very good money even though they sell a lot of stuff just because the commissions you get are very small. I mean small in a dollar way, not percentage, because with percentage you could sell a 10 dollar item and get 8 dollars commission. That’s 80% and that’s pretty good, but if you had a product that sold for 6,000 and offered 50% commission you just made 3,000 dollars. This is another key point in finding the right opportunity for your self. You always gotta be looking to do better.

With that last statement I thought of another thing. A very big thing to realize when doing any business is personal development. How you are on the inside reflects on the outside. If you’re not worth very much to society, if you don’t bring much value to the table then you’re not going to earn very much money.

So the biggest monster secrets are finding a company that offers huge commissions with a very unique product in which one sale could make you a week’s worth of a good paycheck in corporate America and always seeking wisdom for yourself. If you make one sale who is to says you cant make 2, or 3 or 5 or 10. Just takes work.

There are pros and cons to Affiliate Marketing, just as there are to any business. As has been suggested, he best policy is to proceed with caution and do some research before jumping in. As Carol has recommended, this topic thread in the EvanCarmichael.com forum is the ideal place to ask questions and seek further input on available Affiliate Marketing programs. If a person is serious about building an online business and is interested in Affiliate Marketing plans, they should approach the process as they would any other form of business. Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - You made some very good points here Jeff and I agree with you, Affiliate Marketing should not be something that you concentrate all your efforts into. As i said earlier I have learned a lot with Affiliate Marketing and continue to do so, and it has helped me tremendously to understand what I am going to have to do in my chosen niche(s). Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - Hi GT Affiliate Marketing is one of the easier ways to get started making money online, but it does take quite a bit of work before you see any great results as you have to keep promoting constantly. It does teach you one hell of a lot about all aspects of Internet Marketing though as you will need to learn how to write and submit articles, create and maintain a blog, social networking is a great help to affiliates too..the list goes on and on.
