Successful Businesses of the Great Depression-Success is a Matter of the Mind

The great depression, although an unfortunate event, was the beginning of many wealthy entrepreneurs who slingshot their businesses into success. More wealth was created after the great depression than any other time period. This was due to the fact that human beings were being forced to think different. When one can’t change his environment, he tends to change himself. People that were brought down by the great depression became dreamers. They dreamed big and a lot of those dreams came true.

People’s own perception of success determines if they’re successful or not. If your mind is set to achieve a goal greater than just your own success then success is inevitable. What will you do when you become successful? You need to have a plan that includes successes in it, not a plan in which success is the goal. In your quest for your dreams, which are bigger than just success, your eyes must be kept on your dreams. Put your eyes there and your body will follow.

All successful businesses of the great depression all had at least one thing in common, a leader. These leaders just had a different “perception of success and failure” than the ones who didn’t make it. They were people who picked themselves up after every fall and kept moving forward. Failure, to them was only temporary because they knew that after failure there’s only one thing and that’s success. If you realize your “perception of success” interferes with your success you will need to change your “perception of success” to be successful. You need to change things about yourself that need to change in order to have something you’ve never had before.

Changing yourself is done in your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind controls about 95% of what you do physically. That leaves your conscious mind, the mind you’re using right now to read and point the mouse, with only 5% of you. This means that you are your subconscious mind and the quicker you figure out how to grab it by the neck, look at it in the eyes and tell it what you really want the better off you’ll be in the long run. The sooner you start in your life, the better your last days will be.

The great depression brought a lot of heartache to many people but from the bad a lot of good was born. Dreams were they key players in everyone’s success along with the willingness to work and never giving up. If you’ve never experienced success like you really want to, you might look inside you, I guarantee your answers are all there.
