The 5 personal traits that successful people have are

1. Integrity it comes from the word integer which is a common word used in maths used to describe whole numbers. Someone who has integrity lives all aspects of their lives as a whole; not divided. If you have two parts generally those people are described as having no integrity.

2. Optimism: those that choose to be optimistic chose to see the world in a better way; people are attracted to optimistic people. Politicians generally won't be elected if they give us a pessimistic outlook. Successful people focus on the solutions not the problems.

3. Excellence: they set standards of excellence in every area of my life, others bond to people who are excellent; we are naturally attracted to excellence.Excellent people ask themselves "how am going to achieve and how can I improve".

4. Goal Setting: successful people know where they are going and how they are going to get there. Unsuccessful people allow others to determine how much money they will make, and they don't have a whole lot of goals for themselves.

5. Self Mastery: Time management is a myth; all we can do is manage ourselves, successful people discipline themselves to do business driven activities.

Jim Rhon says "Everyone will experience two pains, the pain of discipline or the pain of regret", at the end of your life you could have the pain of regret.

Improve your success in the profit system of Network Marketing & Direct Sales by combining the right system with all the above.

Finally: Successful people leave a legacy, a legacy of love, knowledge spiritual depth, and emotional health. What sort of financial legacy will you leave?

Those who are already involved in Network Marketing or Direct Sales I want to encourage you to follow the system, don't quit, work hard on your business and yourself.

If your considering getting into Network Marketing or Direct Sales. I want to challenge you to not have preconceived ideas and to truly look at what your system is at the moment. Are you in a traditional system, the wages system or are you on a leverage system are you ever going to achieve financial independence, are you just going to consider things the way you've always considered them. Instead open your mind, don't discard immediately, ask yourself is there an opportunity for me?

Questions to ask yourself

Q. What direction is your financial life going in, is it going in the right direction or is it going in the negative direction?

Q. Should you stay in the wages system?

Q. Where will you be in 10years?

Q. What is stopping you from taking control of your financial future?

Q. Challenge you to grow personally look at all areas of your life. The more you grow the more you earn?

Q. Do you need to be in the right kind of profit system to achieve financial independence?

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Is it not legit?

My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
