Network Marketing Is Nothing More Than 'Recommending & Promoting Something That You Like'!

In any Network Marketing business you've probably heard your sponsor/up line say that "Network Marketing is nothing more than recommending & promoting something that you like". When we go to see a great film at the cinema, we can't wait to tell our friends and family how great it was, and how they should waste no time and go and see it straight way. Or maybe you and your partner have just tried the new restaurant in town and have had a fabulous meal, you can't help yourself recommending the new restaurant to everyone you come into contact with.

Of course we don't benefit financially if they go to see the film you recommended, and we don't earn a commission if they buy popcorn at the concession stand, nor do we get given a free entry ticket as a thank-you from the manager next time we call, or a bottle of wine on the house from the new restaurant, no chance it doesn't work like that!!

Humans recommend and promote things that we like every day; we start from the age of three and continue to do it all our lives. So why do we find it so difficult to be successful at network marketing, if recommending and promoting is all that there is to it?

I suggest we can't recommend & promote something that we aren't really passionate about. When you have passion the excitement about your product/service that will come across in your body language, and your tone of voice and people and will buy into that and they will buy you and be prepared to listen. It doesn't matter as much about the words you use, as the words we use in communication only accounts for about 7% of the whole process, the most important parts are your tonality (how you say something, the tone of you voice) and body language.

If you want to lean how to be a networking success, your number one priority will be to find a business that you are passionate about. You've probably also heard your sponsor say that you need to become a product of the product. They aren't just saying that so they can make a sale, it's vitally important to your customer that they see you are using the product as well. If you passionate about your product or service, then you may develop some excitement if you start using it and can see the benefits.

Believing and promoting the benefits of your company and gaining successes with your customer gathering will encourage more positively and belief in what your doing and this will lead to more success and you will lean to be a Network Marketing success.

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
Network Marketing Business Network Marketing Business - Hello all, Recently, I had join a Network Marketing Business on a part-time basis. Does anyone here who has some knowledge on this type of business? I want to learn as fast as I can from all the gurus here
10 best franchises to get involved 10 best franchises to get involved - My advice is: 1) Go to the library and start reading business books (accounting, finance, etc.) 2) Go to your local community college and enroll in night classes 3) Join the local Chamber of Commerce 4) Network / Network / Network -- through the above sources. Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
Re: answer this question Re: answer this question - This is a good topic. I haven't done anything, yet, to seriously damage my business. I did shift gear though. It was the best decision I ever made. For me, affiliate marketing was not working. Making the switch to Network Marketing made all the difference.
