Stay In The Process You Will Achieve Success (The Two Frogs Story)

The difference between successful and unsuccessful people is that successful people don't give up; they carry on performing those simple actions every day will lead to their success. Unsuccessful people on the other hand give up to soon and they remove themselves from the process, they don't have a good philosophy or attitude and don't get good results.

I'm going to use the story of the two Frogs to illustrate the 'Slight Edge' principle.

One day two frogs were leaping and playing about in the swamp, after a while they became bored and decided to explore else where. They hopped off in the direction of a farm where there was lots to explore. After a while they came across a pail of milk and they jumped in for a swim. They soon realised that the milk they were swimming in was really delicious and they filled their bellies with fresh creamy milk.

After a while they decided that they had better jump out of the pail and get home, but the sides were to steep and slippery for them to jump out. They carried on swimming around struggling to get out, finally one of the frogs said "this is hopeless, we will never get out of here, I can't swim anymore so I'm going to stop swimming" and to the distress of the other frog he disappeared under the milk and drowned.

The other frog wasn't going to give so easily up so he carried on swimming and struggling around to get out, he had faith that there will be a way out if he tries hard enough. Finally the frog became completely exhausted and had to stop swimming; he couldn't carry on no further and gave up. But when he stopped swimming to his surprise he didn't sink his swimming had turned the milk into butter which meant that he could just hop out and make his way back to the swamp thankful that he had survived.

This story illustrates how if you just keep yourself in the process doing those simple things you will get results. You may not see them at first but after time you will see results you want.
