Turning Your Dreams Into Reality In Your Internet Marketing Business Opportunity

There are many books written about how to set and attain your goals and dreams, they all seem to basically come down to these four main steps.

1.Write it down, make it specific and give it a deadline.

Turning your dreams into reality requires you to have the skill of envisioning. Learning this skill and being able to create a picture in your mind, adding colour, texture and shape to your dream, makes your goal feel real and tangible.

For example if your dream is to have a have a brand new shiny car, be specific, what colour is it, what does the upholstery smell like, how comfortable is it? Go to the show room and take the car out for a test drive, take your photograph sitting in it and put it on your 'Dream board'.

Now make a date on your calendar that you will achieve that dream by, it could be in six months or a year, what ever it is just set that date.

If you don't set a date then you will just drift along not achieving anything. You could be close to your dream or a long way off you just won't know it.

2.You must look at it everyday

Your brain is far more complex that we give it credit for.

By looking at you goals every day your brain will start attracting those goals into your life. It is this unexplained phenomenon that you attract the things you think about, it's called the 'Law of Attraction.'

3.You must understand the price you pay

It's no good setting out your goals and dreams and expecting to achieve them if you don't change the way things are now. "If you continue to do what you've always done, you will get what you always got."

If all it takes to achieve your dreams is giving up three hours a day of watching the 'income depreciator' in the corner of the room and taking that time and reinvesting it elsewhere you will achieve your goals.

4.You must have a plan to start with

It can take your entire life to fail, so don't set your course on the downward curve of the 'Slight Edge' make a plan and follow it. Make sure you have a starting point for you plan, you can spend far to long 'getting ready' for success and never get going.

Study your subject, practice the activities needed and then reflect on your progress. Take those little steps everyday towards your goals and dreams.

Success is the realisation of a 'worthy ideal'.

Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - Hi Kevin, Like GT suggested, I also think you can add Internet Marketing as a sub category in the Marketing section and also a Social marketing as subcategory. Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Fed rate cuts . . . - So just what do the newest Fed rate cuts mean to Franchise and Business Opportunity investing? Is it immediately felt? What timeframe do you think, or rather, where are we in terms of new vs. existing business investment? A similar question can be composed for the economic stimulus checks - will they a have any effect if consumers spend a little $$
