1. Find the right Internet Marketing Business opportunity

When you search for an internet marketing business opportunity there is so much to choose from, how will you know which one will work for you?

You need to research the opportunities and make sure that your chosen one has a good number of users who are successful. It is also a necessity that your chosen business has an outstanding training back office offering you training in every aspect to get you on your way immediately. Your sponsor should be a great asset to you business offering you support and guidance with every step you take.

2. Do something for your business everyday

Routine is a necessity for a new online business. They require massive action and consistency before you can begin to see results. I recommend you get a diary and designate your chosen hours to work every day and stick to it, remembering, while you can see huge results with working for 3 - 4 hours a day in this field, the more you put into your business the more it will pay off in the long run.

Be consistent with your marketing strategies, expecting to see results by taking constant action. If something is not working for you immediately, don't give up.

3. Learn While You Work

Your chosen hours of work should consist of working for your business. Whenever possible put in some extra time to take up some training offered by your business back office. This may by attending a webinar, a live conference call, reading training modules talking directly to your mentor/sponsor or listening to other successful entrepreneur's advice in your company back office.

4. Work on yourself as hard as you do on your business

Take some time to read from the great books to improve your mindset and positive thinking. 30 minutes a day is enough to improve your mindset and determination, as we all know, nobody ever succeeded in anything when their minds were full of doubt. There are many successful entrepreneurs in this industry, so it can easily be done, why not by you? With the right attitude you can achieve anything.

5. Enjoy!

With these simple strategies in mind and put into order you should be well on your way to the top. Once your new business is running smooth and you are comfortable with your role you will find things easy in this field and supporting the people who have requested your help a privilege. The industry that you have chosen and made work for you is everybody's dream so sit back and enjoy the life you have created for yourself.

Online marketing/internet marketing/online promotion are the same, and it will be best to use the common term - Internet marketing. I can't think about someone to moderate a Social Marketing category. We all use it, we all know how to make it work and we all have our own different experience with it.
Business Tips - How about: Tips for managers to handle employees more effectively? Tips on how to deal with difficult customers? Tips on how to deal more effectively with suppliers? The only three I have in mind right now, but will try to come up with something else. Chris
Internet Marketing Conference on SLife - I've been trying to log in but it keeps crashing.. anyways.. a friend of mine in BC plans on holding Internet Marketing Conferences on SecondLife and have the same top internet marketers that would normally be in Live Internet Marketing conference speak. Income will be generated from admission charges, product sales during breaks, sponsor tables, etc etc.. Just to get the ideas flowing in your head that anything you can do in the real world can be replicated in SL. There is no planned date as of yet for this conference.

You sound like a very enthusiastic person who likes what she does and in Internet Marketing that is very important and you also sound like a 'people person' which is great. Internet Marketing is time consuming and challenging but can also be extremely rewarding and hopefully profitable. I don't know how many forums you have signed up to but this is one of the best. The support and guidance you get here is what makes it the success that it is but as I am sure you know from looking at the side bar that there are many aspects of business that are catered for here which will help you along the way, best wishes, Mal.
Re: How many mambers of this forum are also member of WF? - Hi Kevin, I have to agree with Tanny. All forums are unique in their own way, but doesn't mean that one is better than the other. What you might get out of one forum, you may not get from another. For instance, the WF focuses on Internet Marketing, while this forum focuses on Entrepreneurship. Each has their own set of benefits. I don't think you can really compare one to the other, unless of course they focused on the same topic. I have learned a lot from this forum, stuff I would never have gotten from the WF. With that being said, I've learned a lot from the WF, specifically since I need to know about Internet Marketing and running an online business. The addition of the Online Business forum here will help, and Jeff is doing a great job as moderator.
