Online Home Businesses - What skills do you need to have success? You are probably researching online home businesses right now. Do you want to "fire your boss" or escape the corporate "rat race" that you are currently stuck in? Maybe you are looking because you have lost a lot of your retirement funds in your portfolio from the stock market? Therefore, the 3 skills that you will need to run successful online home businesses are as follows:
- Be Courageous. The object in this industry is to beat your fears. It is natural for you to have some fear when you start off any new business venture. But you must take action despite the fears that you have. This is what all of the leaders do. They have huge fears as well but use their courage to defeat the fear.
- Be Charismatic. Other humans feel it when you are giving off positive energy. And they tend to follow it and want to be around that charismatic person. This alone may allow you to be a huge success. But produce enough positive energy daily in your business that allows you to generate momentum.
- Be Enrolling. The idea here is to be tough. You will face many problems in this business but become that person of action and toughness. Also do not be a victim. You will create your own success do not let situations and circumstances dictate how your business does.

Nope, still don't see it. I see the Online Businesses forum but that has been there for a long time. Is that what you mean? I don't see any Internet Marketing section.

- HI,
I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business.
It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.

Trent - the new category is "Social Network and Media" which was put in to compliment the Online Businesses category that currently exists.
Overall the new categories are:

- Review My...
- Social Network and Media
- Brags and Rants
