Getting The Most Out Of Your Online Efforts



Have you ever wondered how a spider spins their web? Does it even do anything in particular? Well let me explain something to you, you see a spider spins a web intricately and in a particular pattern. The web is virtually unseen and becomes a trap for flies. Similarly, you have to build a web online and learn how to direct your leads into your web (or sales funnel).

So why do you need to spin a web. If done correctly you will generate interest in you, your website and your product if done correctly. You will increase your ‘brand' online, you will be the web bots noticing the activity you are sending out online, you are generating more than one source of where you potential prospects can find you online, through various social media networks. The more in depth you weave your web, the more you will get known as an expert in your field, which builds up trust. Let's face it, people only by from who they can trust.

Here are some great tips of how you can begin to build your web and get the most out of your efforts.

1. Create an Article and submit it to up to 5 article directories - I would say no more than 5 as it may appear as duplicate content even if you are the original author. You could use an automated tool such as Unique Article Wizard which will allow you to rewrite the article several times and then submit this for you to dozens of sites.

2. Post it on your Blog - once it has been released by the article site you will want to post some of it with a link back to the original article submission site. Why? This will increase your ‘ping backs' to the article directory and give you a higher author status.

3. Create a Hub Page out of it - you may want to change the title or tweak it a little as it may be picked up as duplicate content.

4. Create a squidoo lens out of the article

5. Share on Myspace the link of the article to your blog, you could even create a blog in myspace and attach the article entry there with a link back to the article directory.

6. Share on Facebook the link of the article back to your blog

7. Share the link to your blog onTwitter

8. Share it with Stumble Upon

9. Share it with Digg.com etc,

10. Share it with other networking sites like Linkedin, foursquare etc

11. Make a video out of your article subject and post that to your blog, share it with other networking sites as per above.

12. Post your efforts to forums where you think it will be applicable.

13. Is it news worthy? Then send out a press release on your article

14. Want to shout about it- create a podcast.

I think you get the picture about weaving an intricate web all this with the creation of one article how many different people / prospects will now be able to see you. The ‘web bots' will love all the new content they are seeing from you and you will soon be listed on the front page of the organic search engines. Of course there is an art to using keywords and getting article in a number one position and this is where true training and learning lies.
