Living an Extra-Ordinary Life

Jim Rohn has said through testimonials and personal experience we have enough information to conclude that it is possible to ‘design and build and live an extra-ordinary life'.

For the things that we want for the future first get serious, get serious about personal development. Be patient to learn. Read all types of books about your area of business or where you want to improve in your life, you may get plenty of ideas from a little book, and one or two from a book of many pages. Get a journal, write down your thoughts your ideas, your goals, your achievements.

Get serious about making new commitments for the future. Get serious about your business. It is not good enough to spend part time hours on your business, if you want to leave that full time job in the next few months and be able to work from home, then you have got to have a full time attitude to your home business.

Get Smart and learn everything you can about your business or the area in which you wish to improve your life. Learn from many sources, such as books, online, training sessions, presentations. No matter how smart you are nothing happens till you get going. Action + Activity produces miracles of reality.

Get better at understanding complexity of life, at conquering fear and worries, at language and communication, mentoring, at seeing the vision of yourself, at better explaining opportunities to help others see.

Balance your life, from time to time it is good to get away and partake with your friends or family. Try not to miss any opportunity or event.

Are you average or extra-ordinary?

Most people are happy with an average life and making average choices. Ask yourself whether ‘average' is for you.

It is a journey to becoming extra-ordinary, you can't just move from ordinary to extra-ordinary overnight. It is a series of self improvement or areas of improvement in your life where you plan that move from average to extra-ordinary.

Our thinking and actions evolve when you move down that road of extra ordinariness.

Past thinking patterns are not up to the job of thinking extra-ordinary but you can get ready. Personal development books will help change those patterns of thought.

Challenge yourself, push yourself to action to achieve the next level. Look at what activities are required for the next level. Follow them through to success.

If you want something you have never had, you have to do and think things that you have never done.

To your success, have an extra-ordinary life.

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

So are you currently a member? And more importantly, have you tried to open a store front in that virtual world?
Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth -
People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
Re: What Do you Prefer More - Time or Money Re: What Do you Prefer More - Time or Money - Living the moment. I am living the moment since 4 years ago, after the docs found cancer. They removed it, of course, and since then I just do what i want. Jumping from an airplane was one thing, that was great. Now I want to fly to the moon. I need money for that.
Re: Favorite Christmas movies Re: Favorite Christmas movies -
I do have to say I've never liked[i:1rxsgr0t] It's A Wonderful Life[/i:1rxsgr0t]. He spends all his life having his hopes and dreams shattered, feeling miserable, and its only at the end of his life that he can look back and realize how many friends he has, etc. But that doesn't change the fact that up until that point he was miserable![/quote:1rxsgr0t] I love the sentimentality around watching that movie with your Mom! Chtistmas is made up of all those sentimental things. "It's A Wonderful Life" is all about perspective, much in the same way that Scrooge is 'realigned' in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" - which I listen to on CD every year (sometimes twice!) Happy Christmas Everyone! Regards Martin
