Enjoy Your Small Business And Watch The Profits Roll In

Small Business can be the most demanding and stressful way to make a living that you could imagine. As the owner not only do you have to deal with all the tax issues and Government requirements and paying all the bills and your employees BUT you also have to deal with your customers.

I well know it only takes one bad customer to ruin your good day.

What can you do about this; well basically you have two choices.

The first one and something that I advocate no matter what is to work on yourself on a personnel level so that you become more adept at controlling how you react to any given situation. Anthony Robbins calls this "the power of state".

Simply put it means that how you perceive and visualise a situation will have a great deal to do with how you ultimately act when that situation occurs.

So if you can perceive a positive outcome regardless of what happens then it is likely you will deal with the situation in a calm positive manner and this outcome is wonderful for your stress levels as well as your profit levels.

The second method which the first method certainly compliments is to be in a business you enjoy. Now this may seem silly but I guarantee that there is a whole lot of Small Business Owners out there who hate what they do for a living, I was one of those many until not long ago.

What do you do about that situation? You could sell your business, this is unfortunately not always possible as each person has a different set of circumstances and sometimes selling or even closing down is not possible.

Or you can find a secondary income stream that you can put into practice while you still have an interest in your primary business. How can that be a good idea, well simple really?

If you do the correct research while looking for your second income stream you will select an online business that is automated, trains you extensively in how to use the System they promote, provides guidance as you go and lastly will provide you with the opportunity to earn a much greater income while working much shorter hours.

Now you can argue with me but I really think that that outcome will lower your stress levels and let you have fun while you work and ultimately if youare having fun then you will be successful and more profitable.

So think outside the square, it may be just what your doctor ordered for you.

As a Research and Development Intern I am required to practice my listening and interview skills by surveying Small and Medium Businesses on thier Business. This Survey is designed by RSC Business to also assist the Business being interviewed more insight into their own business. I am looking to interview about 30 businesses across North America over the span of 3 months. The Report data will include responses from a minimum of 100 interviews. I would like to extend this opportunity to members of the Forum. If you would like to have this short 20-30 minute interview conducted on your Business and you reside in North America please send me an email or PM.
