Recession Proof your Business The Smart Way

If you own a small business then you know well just how hard it can be to get ahead. By the time you pay your employees, your suppliers and your tax bill there is generally very little left to pay yourself with.

Not only that if you are not making a consistent profit so you can put money aside then you are walking a financial tightrope everyday you open your doors. That my friends can be an extremely stressful proposition and certainly not a situation you want to put yourself in.

So what can I do about this I hear you ask?

Great question and an easy one to answer. You simply need to add additional streams of income that have no relation to your primary business income. Now that is easy for me to but not so easy for you to do.

You are most likely working long hard hours already, you have very little family time, you rarely have time off and the last thing you want to do is add to your workload by starting another business.

Well you may be right except for the fact that there are online opportunities out there that provide you the chance to make a substantial income using the limited time you have simply because they operate in an automated fashion.

By that I mean once you have done the work setting them up you can then allow the SYSTEM to take over and do the bulk of the work for you, if you can achieve that goal you will find that what you gain will be priceless.

To start with many of these business models have an income potential substantially greater than the potential within your primary business. Secondly you will find out that your time becomes much more freed up, you may actually get to see your kids grow up or see your spouse once in a while.

Why? because not only do these business models have a high income potential but they in the main can be run from the comfort of your own home and in your own time.

However there are many pitfalls along the way and you need to do some very serious research into the opportunity you choose. Put simply if you research correctly then you will have overcome most problems you will encounter.

This is because you will be able to choose a company that provides you with training, support direction and a simple yet effective system for your marketing needs. If you do not find a company that supplies these four keys then you basically sentence yourself to a long frustrating and ultimately unsuccessful period of time.

Planning before you jump into a secondary income opportunity will save you time, money and most likely a few hairs. If you plan properly then your success is a much more certain outcome.

So if you want to Recession Proof your Small Business then get that secondary income stream. Do your research make a choice and act on that choice. Yes you will have to make some sacrifices in the first few months but in the end the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages. Remember it is the people who ACT in this world who become successful. Action is the key.

Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company - [quote="zohahunt77":428owzbi]Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me the difference between B2B and B2C. I don’t know about b2b marketing but I have done marketing so know things about it. I will suggest you to take online services which will spread your business all over web network. Online marketing is the best way to market any business.[/quote:428owzbi] B2B = Business to Business - You are marketing to other businesses. B2C = Business to Consumer - You are marketing to consumers.
Trademarks Trademarks - I have to agree with Barbara. It sounds like you need to at least talk with a good attorney. Proof that you mailed the letter would be helpful. I've learned over the years to keep after people until I get a response. Its very possible that your letter never got to the people who needed to see it and that would make it impossible to get a valid response. Companies are real touchy about their logos, but they did spend a lot of money to develop the design and to develop their brand recognition. I have a logo for my company that my partner designed and five companies in the area have copied it almost exactly. It causes confusion in the area because people see their signs and their truck and think its me, unfortunately and I'm only dealing with that to a small degree. Chris
