- Honestly, in most cases today... stay at home moms or wives does not necessarily equate to unemployment or anything of that sort. You will be surprised to see how many women who are making it big working at home. Perhaps the convenience of working at home and the flexibility of the work schedule attracts many women at home to engage in online work rather than actual office based work. Furthermore you should see how many clients prefer women over men when it comes to online jobs at home. Most clients states that women are always on time for work and are commited to get the job done. There are also a lot of women entrepreneurs who are now opting to start a home based online business because of the benefit of getting to be with your family at home. I know some women who successfully balances their online business and their roles as wife and mother. It sure is fun to see them work their business like a bonding time for them. I know one that is running a RTW clothing line online... Her husband is a photographer so he takes pictures for their products while their children gladly poses for the camera as a part of their portfolio. Well I guess if you really want to work out a scenario there are a lot of ways.. but if you are not that determined to do so then you can just think of different excuses.

I can work from home and go out to meet my clients. These times (When I'm out) is the most 'dangerous', because if clients need some files or if something didn't get through email, I'll need to find the nearest internet hot spot (i bring my external hard drive everywhere) to service the client or come up with an excuse.

I use both methods in the same article, because the small competitive phrase is a part of the long less competitive one
Example:
Internet home business ideas to make money online.
This long and over used phrase is example for using some keywords phrases:
Internet home business, internet home business ideas, home business, home business ideas, make money, make money online, ideas to make money, ideas to make money online.
It's hard to rank for all the short ones, but if you use the long phrase as title and first and last paragraph, your post/article will rank faster.

- From reading the responses - it seems that we're getting two different types of replies.
One is for people who are talking about starting a business and figuring in enough money to keep the every day living expenses paid while beginning to build the business and before revenue starts to come in.
The other reply is from people who are talking about the amount that is needed only to start the business - no living expenses being included.
If the person is starting a business part time, they probably won't need to consider what it takes to live. But, if the person is considering starting a new venture fulltime, they need to also consider what they will need to live. I lived at home with my parents when I started my business and they covered my living expenses, but not everyone has that luxury.
