Three Great Online Internet Business Possibilities
Forget everything you've heard about this not being the best time to start your own online internet business. Yes, there's a recession going on right now, and that's exactly why you need to stop bouncing from check to check, and start getting ahead in life, start providing yourself with financial security. To get there, you need to build your own wealth, YOU need to be the one keeping yourself secure, you can't rely on job security in an era of record layoffs.
If you want to know how to make the most of the opportunities listed below: Learn, learn, learn. You don't need to attend the Yale School of Business, but you should probably look into taking a few online courses or attending a seminar just to learn how to develop your business instinct...
Sales
Find some rare collectibles in your garage, you're sure to have one or two. Heck, look at your old video games. A lot of them are worth quite a bit if they're in working condition. Now, take those collectibles and, if they don't have a lot of sentimental value, sell them on an auction site. Take the money you earn there, buy some more collectibles at garage sales and flea markets, and sell them online. Once you get some money from there, get your business license and account, and buy some products wholesale. Now sell them for retail value, and you might even double your money. Keep reinvesting.
Freelance Services
Set up a blog or a website, get together some samples of your writing or your video work or your graphic design or your music or your... Well, anything that you happen to be good at or enjoy doing. Now go find some freelance websites and start posting bids on every project you can find that fits your abilities. Bid low, and place more bids than you think you need to to spread the net wide. The more work you do, the higher your profile, and the more, and better paying work, you'll get. When you get some money rolling in from your one-person freelancing company, look into finding the sites where you can bid on projects in bulk, as in, hundreds of articles or videos or compositions at a time. Now go back to the freelance site, and hire some freelancers. If you like their work, keep them on as regular contributors. There, now you run your own ghostwriting/graphic design/blogging/video production company.
Selling Art
There are literally thousands of ways to do this on the web. If you're a musician, write a couple dozen compositions and put them on a CD. Now sell that CD as library production music for video makers and commercial directors. If you make videos, post them on a video sharing website that spreads some of the ad revenue to the artist. Graphic design? Design some funny t-shirts for one of those online print shops. Keep making more and more work. Work very hard, raise your output. Once you have enough videos out there getting views, enough CDs making sales, each project will provide you with a small trickle of income, all adding up to, hopefully, some real money.
Here's something all of these options have in common: They're free to start.

Hi, my name is Robert Hathhorn. My first online 'opportunity' involved buying leads and placing classified ads, and I learned very quickly that this was a dead end street. The most important lesson from that experience was that the most successful people online know how to generate their own high quality leads. I could see that with the right education, it was possible to build a business on the Internet and the possibilities for growth were huge. So I went looking for a way to learn how to market professionally online. The focus was on improving skills and delivering quality and value. And my lifetime of experience in business told me that this was the only way I wanted to build an enterprise of my own online. It is a new frontier that is growing by the minute, but I know that to be successful online, you have to roll up your sleeves and learn the skills to attract the attention of prospective customers and business partners. If you also find yourself looking online for ways to build a business of your own, and take control of your finances and your life, take this lesson from me... Do your due diligence, ask all the hard questions and above all else, make sure you are entering in to an opportunity where you will be taught how to market on the Internet in a professional way.
