MLM Recruiting and Lead Generation Tips: How to Get Invited To Your Prospect’s World as a Welcomed Guest and Not a Pest

Guest post by: Mike Mundell

Article Overview: We are drowning in a waterfall of information and endless marketing “noise” thanks to the internet. As a result, we have raised our guard and surrounded ourselves in ironclad fortresses to stave off the onslaught of hands trying to get into our pockets. These fortresses have taken on the form of SPAM blockers, pop up blockers, caller ID, spyware software, and the “Do Not Call List.” In the midst of all this marketing “noise,” there are two methods of lead generation you can use to build your network marketing or MLM business.

MLM Recruiting and Lead Generation Tips: How to Get Invited To Your Prospect’s World as a Welcomed Guest and Not a Pest

One of the most commonly asked questions I get is "Mike, do you have any MLM recruiting tips that I can use to build my MLM with little to no money?" Yes, I have a boat load; however, there is one basic concept you must understand first. If you don't understand the basics of Attraction Marketing, I could give you all the MLM recruiting tips in my arsenal but they wouldn't do any good.

Like a house on a shaky foundation, if you don't have a solid grasp on the basics, your business is destined to collapse.

Anybody that's spent any time hanging fliers, cold calling, calling purchased leads, and trying to convince family and friends to join their business knows the sting of getting rejected over and over and over again while building their MLM or Network Marketing business utilizing this type of lead generation.

These "old school" sales techniques have become more difficult for a new network marketer in this age of technology and the increasing role the internet is playing in our lives.

We are drowning in a waterfall of information and endless marketing "noise" thanks to the internet.

Think about this...we can't look in any direction without a product or service being pushed in our face. As a result, we have raised our guard and surrounded ourselves in ironclad fortresses to stave off the onslaught of hands trying to get into our pockets. These fortresses have taken on the form of SPAM blockers, pop up blockers, caller ID, spyware software, and the "Do Not Call List." DVRs are not only used to record our favorite programs, but to skip the commercials, too!

There is little tolerance for solicitation and we just want to be left alone.

In the midst of all this marketing "noise," there are two methods of lead generation you can use to build your network marketing or MLM business.

1. You can follow your upline's advice and continue to play the numbers and see what sticks by purchasing more leads, spending more money, and having voicemails and emails go unreturned. Simply put...getting rejected.

Or

2. You can educate yourself, learn a specific skill set and then educate others while positioning and branding yourself as an expert and a leader. Those that are following your advice are coming back for more. As word gets out and your exposure grows, more and more leads seek you out and are contacting you in an effort to ask about your business.

Which do you choose?

Obviously, any sane person would choose number two as the lead generation of choice.

Attraction Marketing

Here's the deal...if you have even just an ounce more knowledge than someone with a common interest, you hold value to that person. As you share your knowledge and skill through common mediums including forums, blog posts, and even social groups like Facebook or Twitter, you are positioning yourself as an expert.

By positioning yourself as an expert, you gain your prospect's trust and then those iron clad fortresses they surrounded themselves in begin to crumble. You will be welcomed with open arms by a group of raving fans that are drawn to your leadership, expertise, and skill.

Recognized as an identifiable leader and expert, these raving fans will turn into distributors begging to work with you and customers anxious to buy from you.

Mike Mundell is the owner and creator of www.MLMInternetStrategy.com...the hottest attraction marketing system on the planet.

Mike is a college dropout that went to work driving a forklift and stacking 2x4s for $4.28/hr for the third largest home improvement retailer in the US.  Working his way the ranks, Mike spent the last six years of his "corporate life" as a project manager, overseeing teams of up to 250 people while managing new store openings throughout the Midwest.  Mike's teams would turn an empty, brand new 264,000 square foot building into a fully functioning and profitable retail store in 21 days.

The combination of working 16 - 18 hour days, living out of a suitcase, and traveling four days a week on company jets took its toll and Mike walked away in 2007 in pursuit of entrepreneurship.

Today, Mike's specialty is teaching network marketers and small business owners how to build a brand, leveraging social media to build an online presence.

Re: The Best Websites to Publish Your Articles Re: The Best Websites to Publish Your Articles - I think we should not forget to say about Guest Posting here. Guest posting in popular blogs are always the best place to publish your articles. Though article submission sites are there at one side, doing a guest post in a popular blog gives you the immediate results. That definitely redirects you new readers from that guest blog to yours, if you have a related blog then it works great. Of course, guest posting builds good relationship with other marketers and experts. This helps you to achieve a growth for the long term. Thanks.
