If you are just starting to write articles or have been writing for awhile, you need to know the reasons to submit articles online. Where ever you are at in article writing one thing is for sure, we can all use more traffic! When you submit articles online you have the ability to touch thousands upon thousands of readers all over the globe. Let's get down to the main reason you are here, the top 9 reasons are:

• 1. Free Advertising- As you write an article you start positioning yourself as more knowledgeable on the subject and a leader in the field. As you continue to build article upon article you will attract a following, who will want more information. You also have the ability to input a call to action at the bottom with a hyperlink to the product or service you are marketing.
• 2. It's Going Viral- Many of the sites that you submit articles to have what they call RSS feeds. Now many people have no idea what a RSS feed is or what it does so I will briefly explain. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and it works by taking your published content and sending it out to thousands of others, then it can happen all over again. A great way to multiply the readers and the eyes on your content is to submit too many other sites.
• 3. Building Your Brand is Easy- As you write more and more and yes, more articles you are building your brand. Your brand is you; your brand is what you are and how you give back to the world. As you submit articles to highly authoritive sites you are enhancing your creditability which leads more people being attracted to you. You want people attracted to you so you don't have to pay as much for advertising. While many consider article marketing online as "Free Advertising," I do not...you still use your time.
• 4. Driving Traffic is One Piece- As you submit more articles online you are not only marketing to customers or clients you originally intended to market to, but anyone online. This broadens your market as the articles start going viral online. People start reading your articles, which could lead to your next big break.
• 5. You Don't Have to Have Your Own Site- While I always recommend people to have their own site or blog, it is not a must have. Many of the article submission sites allow what they call an "author box" that allows you to insert a call to action. Many sites also ask you to set up a bio page with a picture. Although this is all online, you are still building trust and a relationship with people.
• 6. They Never Go Away- What is so awesome about articles and submitting them online is that they are there forever. Over time people come across your article, read them and possibly bookmark or pass them on to others. So years down the road someone could read your article, contact you, and buy from you. Building a strong foundation of articles, through many different sites is like building a house on a concrete foundation, very stable and secure. If possible I would recommend writing at least one article per day for the first 90 days and watch the results closely. If you are like me you will find your articles on websites that you never knew existed. This ultimately gets you in front of other readers.
• 7. Get Recognized By Other Authors- What I like about many of the article submission sites I have joined is the support and wide variety of people they attract. As you become more fluent with your writing and your own style (and trust me, we all have our own style), you start getting recognized. Many sites have status levels you can achieve due to the content, relevance, and quantity of articles submitted. Another great feature of these status levels is that many have a "badge" which is an HTML code that you can obtain for free and put on your blog. Yes, it does give them free advertising but it brands you more of an expert to your readers and followers.
• 8. Tracking Your Stats- If you do some digging around on the sties that you can submit article you will find a statistic page. You may be wondering, "how will this help?" the answer is quite a simple one. After about a week of having your article online, I would suggest watching the stats on that article. Compare these stats to your other articles. What is the difference? What different keywords were used? Figure out what made one article out perform the other. Is it the title? The subject? Or the topic? For whatever the reason, use it for your advantage and build upon it.
• 9. The Sites Are Exploding- Just like any business the article submission sites are exploding and with them exploding they are making enhancements. As these sites get bigger and bigger they start attracting more authors and readers which gets your content in front of more people. Obviously the more readers you obtain, you have more opportunities to promote your product or service.

Are you wondering why I just didn't make this an easy 10 top reasons instead of 9? It is actually quite simple, everyone else makes "10 Reasons" and I am not like everyone else. I am an entrepreneur that thinks differently and outside the box on so many different levels.
