Build a Home Business in 90 Days

When I decided to write this article I chose to look back on my business and also got feedback from others. I want to be able to tell people how to build a home business in 90 days. You ask why on earth I would want to do this, it's actually quite simple. We have groomed ourselves to want and then obtain something right now, we have no patience. So here is what I did.

In My First 30 Days

In my first 30 days of my home business I did like most others do, I went online. I searched all over, scrutinized this model vs. another model, compensation plans vs. compensation plan, and then support vs. support. See I am one that is very skeptical and do my due diligence before I sign up. Once you get burned on any type of business transaction, you learn this step is very important. I was not one to believe this "sit on your couch and make a million" hype; I knew I would have to do some work. I found a program that I really liked the business model, the compensation plan, and thesupport. The support is world class; I don't believe it could get any better! In the beginning I had no idea on how to build a home business in 90 days, and that was my goal. After going through the training in week one, I went forth and bought a domain name. I was educated that my domain name had to brand me, but also "tell" what I was about. This is why I came up robertstrongmarketing, so I bought the domain from Go Daddy and got hosting for a few years. I first started out with a "junior" program to build my website and got an AWeber account which allowed me to get responses out to my leads automatically. During these first 30 days I built my blog, did some advertising, and plugged into the training whenever possible. Here is the key though, whenever you learn something new you need to put it use!

60 Days in andLearning a Ton

During the first 60 days I was continually working on my brand, as I was learning more and more, I learnt that people were not looking for an opportunity but more a solution. On my website I was able to insert an opt in box (which I highly recommend). With someone opting in they would receive a free eBook called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. People that were coming to my site were coming to my site were professionals that were working 70+ hours a week, and were tired of their corporate career, or afailing MLM individual looking for answers. Both of these individuals had one thing in common, they had a problem and I had a solution. I really started focusing on these two types of people and wrote many articles that would help both of them. Once I wrote an article I submit it to article submission sites like EzineArticles, Articlebase, and BetterNetworker which have awesome page rankings. I then pinged and bookmarked them on sites like Digg, Delicious, Mister Wong, and others. This helped my articles get out to so many sites and in front of tons ofother people.

90 days and I'm Smokin'

Now from day one until the day I shut down my business I will continue to learn and build my knowledge. A good friend of mine always "no new skills, means no new money!" This means reading a book a week, watching webinars, or getting on conference calls to learning a new skill. It also means doing something every day that improves your business, talking to minimum of three people every day. I also became an article writing fool, averaging one every other day. I would recommend though to really jumpstart your business, make a video a day, write an article a day, and network. From 60 to 90 days I rebuilt my website and now use WordPress (which I recommend to use this first) compared to what I did. I continued to write articles and the articles were giving solutions to people problems, and I gave it all away for free. I also put my article and videos on Facebook, Twitter, and other Social Networking Sites that drove more results and traffic to my sites.

Now what after 90 days

If you follow the steps on how to build a business in 90 days and repeat it over and over you will come successful. You have got to stay plugged into your training, you have got to keep learning, and put into action what you learned. You have got to drive customers to your business by providing quality content that provides them with solutions. This will put you in a leadership and authoritative role that attracts people, you want people that are drawn to you instead of you chasing people.

Notice One Word I Didn't Bring Up

You may have thought ok, what if I have a sponsor? So what, you have a sponsor. Some of us do and some ofus don't. I'm telling you now, if you do have a sponsor do not rely on them to tell you what to do day by day. I know this sounds harsh but if you want to attract people to your business, you are the one that has to have the drive and the passion. You can ask your sponsor questions once in a while or brainstorm with them, but remember they have a business to runjust as you do. You may have been attracted to them because of their leadership and knowledge; think of what attracted you to them, follow their lead and learn from them.

While this tells you how to build a business in 90 days, you will continue to build upon it. You will continue to learn, act, and promote to strengthen your business. Don't ever quit! Quitters don't go down in the history books. Why? It's simple; too many people do quit and then wonder the rest of their life "what if".

Roughly seventeen years ago I began my career into retail, and had been with the same major retailer for the past fourteen years. I can remember starting out and I really had no idea what to expect or to do. To me it was a new company, new people, new rules, new expectations, new everything! How was I going to remember everything and prosper? I quickly learned who the leaders were and began observing and studying their responses to different situations. I have always had a strong internal feeling that I could do more: for other people and for my family. I have found this by joining a team that focuses on helping others obtain their dreams and becoming more in tune what really matters in life, our loved ones around us.

Re: Great start, but no finish Re: Great start, but no finish - My advise is FOCUS on your business. Focusing is the main factor to succeed on business. If you have a great idea, then follow it only, don't look anywhere else. It is especially essential in an online business. Because there are a lot of mind blowing sales letters promising millions dolllars or overnight success, people find it difficult to concentrate on one business and they lose their energy. Concept is simple. 1- Have a good idea; 2- Build your business on it; 3- Monetize your business; 4- Promote it; 5- Build list of responsive customers; 6- Maintain You Business. Focusing and not fearing from competition (instead you can learn from competitiors) are main tips of billionaires ,BTW. Orxan

But this will change when it is August or September. Orxan

But how do you know if you truly have a good idea or not? If we ask ourselves, we may be suffering from tunnel vision. On the other hand, friends/family may try to discourage us from pursuing a small business because of their own fears, while others will simply give us an empty "you can do it!" line.
Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? Re: Trade Shows - Are They Worth It? - HI, I have used trade shows (not participated) to collect potential clients. For example, the Home & Garden Industry is extremely behind the time in regards to their websites. I attended an Home & Garden Expo in Denver and collected all the companies contact information. I plan on cold calling & mailing information to each business. It also gave me time to research the industry more, talk directly to the owners in many cases, and learn more about what they need.
