Article Overview: This has been a question not only asked by me when I first got started but just about everyone in the world. The question is either always “What or how is the best way to make money online?” It’s not a matter of if I will be asked this question, but more a matter of when. The majority of the time that I am asked this question is right before or right after someone starts an online business adventure.

This has been a question not only asked by me when I first got started but just about everyone in the world. The question is either always "What or how is the best way to make money online?" It's not a matter of if I will be asked this question, but more a matter of when. The majority of the time that I am asked this question is right before or right after someone starts an online business adventure.

There is no right answer

It is quite evident that many people just like you that are reading this come from many different backgrounds. What is really great about the internet is that anyone can come and play in this sandbox. All walks of life are getting online and learning the World Wide Web. In knowing this and knowing we all have our unique personalities, there are activities that we enjoy and excel at. For example some ways to money online']);"> make money online can include Pay Per Click, Article Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Video Marketing, Surveys, Blogging, Product creation or services and auctions to name a few.

How will you know?

Just like anything else in this wonderful world of ours, if you don't enjoy what you are doing or have a passion to be great at something you probably will not be successful. So what does this mean to you? This means instead of asking "How is the best way to Make Money Online", instead you should be asking the question "How is the best way for me to make money online?" This is the first step to your success now that you have decided that you want to make money online.

What do you need to know?

So far all good questions, all relevant to your success in making money online. You have got to know yourself first, each of the many ways to money online']);"> make money online requires; skills, attitude, time commitments, and game plans. You will find out yourself which ones you like and which ones you despise. There is nothing wrong with only really liking one or two options, you have to decide.

My suggestion to you

While some options I really enjoy, some I run from like I am on fire. My suggestion to you is to actually a quite simple one, try them all. It's like buying a car, you test drive it first right, and you normally don't buy the first one you drive unless it just makes you feel awesome. Here are a few examples for you to think about as you approach these different options:

Article Marketing - it is a great way to money online']);"> make money online although it does take a lot of writing and submitting them to many different sites. If you liked to write papers in school and still like to write, have the time and can compose content of roughly 500 words you have a great formula in being successful. Article marketing does not cost any out of pocket expense, just really your time.

Pay Per Click - this marketing avenue is great for very targeted individuals. This avenue does have an out of pocket expense and Pay per Click tends to have the highest learning curve compared to any other marketing avenues. On another note, as of roughly 9 months ago, many Pay per Click rules on the search engines have been strictly enforced or changed. Video Marketing - while many people start out very camera shy, this passes over time. You and I are much alike in the sense that we would rather watch a video that to read a long story. Video's tap into numerous senses and allows us to really relate with the person on the video. Pick one or two you like

Ok now that you know that you want to "test drive" a few different ways to make money online, don't quit. I cannot stress this enough! DON'T QUIT! I see too many people start "article marketing" and stop within the first 30 days because they may not be getting the results they would like. Wrong Idea! If you want success you have to stay the course and keep going. None of us are entitled to overnight success, including you so don't expect it. Here are a Couple guidelines to help:

• If you have previous experience in any industry and are pretty fluent in it, you could write many articles on the subject or shoot how to videos'
• If you love to write, educating others on thoughts or ideas, you could start a blog
• If you had experience in the stock market, investments, investigating different subjects than Pay per Click may be right up your alley
• If you really enjoyed going to auctions while you were growing up as a child and auctions still interest you, and you have had some experience with EBay, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Just remember you need to find something you enjoy or you will want to and will quit the actions or activities that lead to making money online. There is no overnight success, but if you approach this the same as you would in eating an elephant; you too can be successful.

Re: How To Pick Keywords To Rank For - Hi GT, I use both methods in the same article, because the small competitive phrase is a part of the long less competitive one Example: Internet home business ideas to make money online. This long and over used phrase is example for using some keywords phrases: Internet home business, internet home business ideas, home business, home business ideas, make money, make money online, ideas to make money, ideas to make money online. It's hard to rank for all the short ones, but if you use the long phrase as title and first and last paragraph, your post/article will rank faster.

Is Spam to Blame?? - I was reading the post about affiliate and ebay work to make money and had a thought. It seems that a large number of people think that its really easy to make money online. It can certainly be done, but I agree the learning curve is LARGE. Another fun thing about the internet, is that many of the rules change on a regular basis. I know a woman who wrote a book about promoting online about 4 years ago. I've tried to suggest updating some elements of the book in a new addition - because so many of the rules and especially the SEO rules have changed MANY times in 4 years. But, she insists that the principals are still accurate. They still work, but not nearly as well as they did 4 years ago. My thought is that one of the reasons that people feel they can make big money quickly is because the mountain of spam that sells that idea, must be extremely effective. Or, its the problem that my father insists that everyone wants to make easy money. Sadly, neither, ebay or affiliate marketing are that easy and they all require a lot of learning and a lot of work. I used to work for some extremely successful affiliates and they worked insane hours - but they knew the secrets and made a lot of money.
