How to Have a Successful Part Time Internet Home Based Business

If you are reading this than you have your own part time home based business or you are looking to start one. Either way, you will find some of my tips, ideas and thoughts as totally off the wall or just complete common sense that no one really explained to you. Thousands of people on a daily basis take the plunge and start a part time home based business, but do they really know what they are doing to become successful?

What People May Not Know

The current rate of people that start an internet home based business and fail is close to 98%, which is an alarming rate, one that is quite appalling to me. The question arises once people obtain this fact is why do so many people fail. There are many reasons that people fail but I will only cover the top few so and explain how to turn the tide for your business.

They Don't Know

Unfortunately many people join a community or a company and really don't understand what they will be doing or how they will be compensated.

Use your investigative skills to learn about the opportunity that is put before you and figure out what type of support you will be given, by whom, and how often are they able to help you. What types of resources are available to you to learn and incorporate those into your daily activities to become successful?

They Listen To Naysayers

Have you ever had conversations with people that tell you "that is dumb" "that will never work" "you can't do that"? These people are the naysayers, and they will keep you from becoming successful in your part time internet home based business.

You need to have conversations with people on a daily basis that think like you and have the same type of goals, you need to mastermind with others wanting to obtain dreams like you have. In my community we have daily calls that put us all in the right mindset to where we feel that there is nothing or no one that can hold us back from obtaining our dreams.

If you learn It, Use It

I see so many people take training after training and do nothing with it; it is like a complete waste of time. The worst thing you can do is learn a new skill or trick or tip and not implement it into your business.

Every time that you learn a new tip or trick, use the knowledge and enhance your business, tips and tricks normally save you time and enhance your lifestyle. The next step to the process is share with someone else that can benefit from it; this positions yourself as a leader in your industry which attracts more people.

They Try To Sell A Million Peanuts

While there are times and places for certain people or businesses to sell peanuts or very low cost products or services, this is not the place for you. Think of the 9.99 peanuts that pay 50 percent commission - you make 5.00 great! How many peanuts will you need to sell to make 5000.00 a month? You guessed right -10,000 peanuts; do you really think you can sell that many peanuts to make a decent living?

The answer is in high commission goods or services, there are many high tier internet home based business models that a couple sales a month can make you the same 5000.00, much easier than selling truck loads of peanuts.

Roughly seventeen years ago I began my career into retail, and had been with the same major retailer for the past fourteen years. I can remember starting out and I really had no idea what to expect or to do. To me it was a new company, new people, new rules, new expectations, new everything! How was I going to remember everything and prosper? I quickly learned who the leaders were and began observing and studying their responses to different situations. I have always had a strong internal feeling that I could do more: for other people and for my family. I have found this by joining a team that focuses on helping others obtain their dreams and becoming more in tune what really matters in life, our loved ones around us.

Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
