Article Marketing has become a very powerful tool in anyone's online business and it can drive a considerable amount of traffic if done right. If you are looking to obtain more visitors to your site use these article marketing traffic ideas and watch your business explode. Article marketing is a great way to get a constant flow of traffic to your site by providing valuable content, choosing the correct keywords and submitting to the right sites.

What is Your Topic?

When you have a website, there is a general theme about the site, somewhat of a niche hopefully. If you just have a landing page that obtains information and the only reason is to try to sell something, this is not a good option. The best thing to have is a blog, with 5 or 6 different niche specialties that are relevant to the main blog site. It is very helpful to not only you but the reader, is if you do complete your research on the subject you are writing about. Your main goal is to give powerful information in 750 words or less and not talk over anyone's head.

Keyword Research

If you want your articles or really any other type of content to rank very well on the search engines and get as much article marketing traffic possible, do your keyword research. If you are in the home business opportunity business, you need to realize that this is a very competitive keyword. The chance of you writing an article and ranking on page one of any search engine is slim and next to none, so honestly don't try. You need to use a keyword research tool that shows you monthly searches and how competitive the keyword is that you are trying to rank for, it is not rocket science but it does take a little work.

Title Away

The title to your article is going to be the first thing that stands out to people and what will catch their eye or not. I would recommend using powerful words that represent improvement or how easy something is to do, something like "3 easy steps to lose 5 pounds". Be careful though, when you write an article make sure that you provide the answer to the title in the article, if your content is helpful and readers find it valuable they will share it with others. The worst thing that you can do is shout "3 easy steps" and don't provide the steps or they are not easy at all, this not only lets the reader down but also ruins your brand and status online.

Don't Drown Your Reader

This is where some authors lose their readers and future customers, think f how busy you are online and how many websites that you visit when you are surfing. Other web surfers are no different, they want answer to their problems quickly, and we have become a very instant gratification society with all of our digital toys. If you are writing an article or providing a piece of content, keep the article in between 500-750 words, and videos from 2-3 minutes. Get to the point and provide an answer, having to long of articles or videos make people leave your site and all your hard work was for nothing.....
