Just like any investment you make in life whether it be in the stock market, a relationship, or a purchase, knowing the details are key. With so many options and opportunities about making money online, how can you tell what is what, and what is real? Here are a few details that you want to investigate before you commit to any free opportunity.

• How are you compensated? Cash, rewards, or points?
• What is the time investment needed?
• What do you have to sell?
• Do you have to own your own website?
• Am I an affiliate promoting someone else or their product?

There are even companies that recruit currently employed people to try to obtain the cream of the crop people in that field. Much of this prospecting is done on a networking platform so it can be not only rewarding for one person but all involved. You are held to strict guidelines and if you violate any of them you run the chance of getting your account deactivated. Have you thought about a certain niche you would like to dominate? Have you been studying a certain topic to the level you feel you have become an expert? Do you think you could take all the knowledge you have on a certain niche and build a website around it? Once your niche website is build and you start attracting very specific traffic you then obtain the power to market not only your product or services but others as well. As you grow your following you will be approached by marketers wanting to advertise on your site.

When you are advertising another individuals product or service on you site you can:

• Have a separate page that shows all these marketers.
• Write an article or blog post about a specific product or service and insert links to the product in which you obtain a commission.
• Insert banner ads or text links anywhere on your site.

While all these ideas above do work and are proven methods of making money online, the question you have to ask yourself, "how much?" Just like any investment, the larger the investment, your chance of higher returns is greater. You have just got to decide what is comfortable for you.

Well, I have learned from realhomebasedsuccess dot com that there are home based business opportunities and ideas that could be our option such as: -Selling Goods or Providing Services Online -Making Money through Direct Marketing -Becoming an Affiliate Marketer -Getting Paid on a Click Thru but I was thinking which is the best one and most effective in terms of generating consistent Ongoing Profits. What do you think? do you have any insights?

I got my Pearl for virtually nothing because I had been with Rogers for like 10 years.... I also just added a new phone to my contract and bought the new Razor for $50?? Re: Which would you start: a Blog or Online Community? - It is a difficult decision to make. Lets start it this way - What are you more interested in? Money? or Friends? or Both? If its purely Money, then Blog might be an appropriate answer. But consider this - It will be people (visitors) that will bring traffic to your blog and then Money will follow. This will be possible after a time and during this time it will be your friends who will be the starters. If you are looking for friends only, then its true that not many will be interested in knowing how you have beaten them in the game or the other way round. So it will be preferable to have a Forum where they can share ideas with you and others. But you can share your insider knowledge with them and invite comments from your Blog. You can also put up information on what others (including your friends) don't know about Tennis. The blog you create can provide News, Inside Information and also Techniques that can be used by the new entrants in the world of Tennis.
