Where to Look

There are many places you can look online to see if an online business opportunity is legit and if it a viable way to make money on the internet. A great place to start your investigation on this subject in online forums or work from home websites, these normally have very good reviews and previous experiences on the subject to help you. Not only are there articles but also videos and people that actually work from home and they can give you advice on how to make the transition and tips to make it easier. These people are normally really good about helping and answering your questions as this is what they do for a living.

What to Look For

There are a few questions and inquiries you should conduct when you are looking for ways to make money online. One big red flag that would pop out for me is one opportunity that promotes make thousands of dollars in 30 days; it has been proven that it normally takes a couple years for the average person to make a lot of money with an online business opportunity. Another inquiry you should do is how long this business or way to make money has been around for very long; the length of the business opportunity should have the same importance to you whether it is online or offline. Many businesses that have not been in business for more than one year are a scary thing; you may just wait it out and see how they move forward.

How does it make you feel?

If your inner voice or gut is telling you something different than your mind, it is a good indication that something is amuck. Take your time and really investigate the company, complete some online search queries and see what comes up, just remember that everyone has an opinion and one person saying it is bad and 500 saying it is good there are reasons for everything. Knowing what you are getting yourself into and what the company provides you as support is crucial to your success.

I also know many people that try a couple different things and actually compare them against each other and stick with the opportunity that makes them feel good and provides the most support. In most business opportunities you will be on a learning curve, so having a support structure to help you is one of the hugest assets.

But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. However, I can honestly say that since I went on the Internet, it has changed my life forever like it has for everyone around the world. When I say it has changed my life, I don't mean it in a soppy way but just in everyday things like research, booking a holiday, shopping, renewing tax or driving license etc, all of which you can do online and that is before my Internet activities.
