I have and I am here to advise you, as I have been in the business for quite a while, run as fast as you can! Many network marketers, like me, will tell you that there is no magic pill or secret blueprints or secret code; it's really simple and something I consider an idiot proof way to money online']);"> make money online in network marketing.

It All Boils Down to You

If you look at my story and many other successful network marketers, we all have the same things in common. We have made the mistakes early on in our network marketing business but we learned from them and got better. We also took these teachings and passed them onto others to help them become successful. We are normally the first to try a new product or service, and then provide honest and timely feedback. On a daily basis we are educating ourselves by reading, studying, or masterminding with likeminded network marketers. I have had many people ask me what kind of content I could provide to help them become a leader.

Learn Something New Everyday

When you learn something new every day, whether it be a skill or mindset enrichment, you need to share this information. You can learn something by investing in great books, CD's, DVD's, webinars, or masterminding with your mentors. The same day you learn something new, share it! This is a great practice to get into for a couple reasons.

• The information is still fresh in your mind and you will have an easier time in articulating the information to others.
• You start becoming a leader in your field. People will become magnetized to you and the information you provide.
• If you learn something you retain 50% but if you teach someone that new info you retain 25% more.

Give it Away, Give it Away, and Give it Away Now

As you become more of an expert in a field like banner advertising, article marketing, or blogging write a report or book about it. Then what you want to do is give it away for FREE. Yes, you read that right for FREE! When you give this away for free you are really building a relationship and showing your prospects the type of support you are willing to give them at no cost. See, prospects are used to people trying to sell them this or that. You will stand out when you give it away for FREE.

Give Them What They Want

Have you ever heard the saying "Different Strokes for Different Folks?" This saying does come into play in the way to make money in network marketing. People look at your opportunity for different reasons. There are a couple different ways you can obtain information from your prospects which are quite easy.

• 1. Email- One way would be sending each prospect an email on what information they would like to learn more about.
• 2. Call- Another would be calling them and asking. If you had prospects like I do, it will take quite awhile but it's the most personal.
• 3. Survey- One of my favorite ideas would be to send a survey out to all your prospects on what type of information they would like to obtain.
• 4. Free Training- Now if you would really like a great response, offer a one on one training session for FREE.

This shows your prospects that you are willing to listen to their needs and wants and also that you have time for them.

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.
Do what i did - I had the same dilemma. My solution? I started my own marketing firm! No, in all reality, even if you have a degree in Marketing, you will have to take crappy entry-level jobs to get your foot in the door. Make the most of them by taking on extra tasks that will give you skills that will improve your resume. It's a slow process, but if you can get just one job in Marketing, you're on your way!
Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest - It's interesting to see what the different motivations are by Age Category. I've noticed this around me: 20 to 29yr olds: Motivator: Money 30 to 39yr olds: Motivator: Success/Ambition 40 to 49yr olds: Motivator: Family comes first 50 to 59yr olds: Motivator: Leaving a legacy i've only gone that far in my analysis. Of course this is a braid generalization but I find that it helps direct my marketing to individuals in different age brackets. The product/service can be the same but the Marketing message (Benefit Statement) to a 20 year will revolve around "Money" vs. a 30-something would be on their "Self Image"
