Video Marketing; to do or not to do, that is the question

Video Marketing is a phenomenal resource for you to market your business whether it is online or offline (brick and mortar). Video Marketing allows you to be yourself, allows people to relate with you better and helps you with your personal branding.

Where do you complete your Video Marketing?

YouTube is the largest video marketing sharing website in the world; they are currently ranked the fourth most visited website in the world. YouTube has roughly 60 million unique viewers per month, they are predominately generation Y that spend 5-6 hours per day watching videos, the income levels are fair across the board running from 0-100k annually. YouTube is currently owned by Google, in which we all know that Google is currently the search engine']);"> largest search engine with about 87% market share. YouTube uses Adobe Flash to display content such as user generated content, movie clips and music videos.

Why would you consider Video Marketing?

Internet Video is currently the most sought after commodity among search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. The great thing about videos is that people love them, which in fact search engines love them, search engines want to provide their customers with great relevant content; videos are also another great way to rank higher on the search engines the natural way.

Personal Branding in Video Marketing

Personal Branding is a huge step for anyone online, people watching you and your video pick up on so many things about you and your situation. Video Marketing touches on senses like sight, sound, and also feeling. Yes feeling, people can pick on your demeanor, your body language, your environment in the video. I recently made a video and talked about Personal Branding and how perception is reality. First let's talk about your appearance, is your clean and pressed, hair combed, facial hair groomed? Now let's talk about your background, make sure it's not "busy", a clean environment, no stacks of pizza boxes lying around, beers cans lying around, or piles of clothes all over the place. You are a business owner, portray yourself that way.

A Few tools and Programs that you might look into

Many People believe that you have to have a high end camcorder or get it done professionally, but that's really not the case. I personally use a camcorder that I got for about 100.00, but with a camcorder you definitely want a tripod that cost 15.00 to 20.00. I know even a few people that have used a cell phone to take a quick video, most phones today have this feature on them and also many have the ability to upload toYoutube right away. One very dominant program that will help you get your videos out to the world and save you tons of time is a program called Traffic Geyser.Traffic Geyser is a program that for the first month you can test drive for 1.00 and then after that is 97.00a month, what this program does for you is automatically uploads your videos to many, many other video sites and so much more. If you would like to try a free program there is another program called Tube Mogul that also uploads to other sites, while not as dominant as Traffic Geyser, and has some limitations it is free.

Roughly seventeen years ago I began my career into retail, and had been with the same major retailer for the past fourteen years. I can remember starting out and I really had no idea what to expect or to do. To me it was a new company, new people, new rules, new expectations, new everything! How was I going to remember everything and prosper? I quickly learned who the leaders were and began observing and studying their responses to different situations. I have always had a strong internal feeling that I could do more: for other people and for my family. I have found this by joining a team that focuses on helping others obtain their dreams and becoming more in tune what really matters in life, our loved ones around us.

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - [quote="RussellWebb":ehd6t01k]In answer to your question Kevin - [quote:ehd6t01k]I'll implement ONE of those new categories, but can someone first tell me what the difference would be between the existing "Marketing" section and one of those new options mentioned above?[/quote:ehd6t01k] The social media category can share strategies and techniques in using Facebook, Myspace, Squidoo, Video, YouTube, Blogging and anything related to this niche topic...[/quote:ehd6t01k] Thanks for the clarification Russell! Still 15 "yes" votes to go before we can introduce the proposed category. I think the only way we could reach that total is if those who are truly passionate about it could convince others to join this forum and vote.
Dramatized the product Dramatized the product - Tough one... It's going to have t be a mix of different media. 1. Testimonials of current owners of the product and how it's helped them. This can be done thru Video and print 2. Somehow I believe there will have to be Video of it being "dramatized" 3. People of influence will have to support or sponsor the product. just some that came to mind..
Re: How do you earn trust with an online business? Re: How do you earn trust with an online business? - Add VALUE to your target market. How? Well depends. If your business can start by Educating the target market about how your product or Service can add value to their lives. This can be done via Video (hot right now), basic text, audio etc. I've had a lot of success with Video and am using it primarily as a lead generation tool. If done right your Content can add Value and add to your bottom line at the same time while building Trust.

Re: need pricing help please Re: need pricing help please - here's my opinion that was derived from the person I heard it from (Russell Brunson) I view internet Marketing products as a Ladder. At the bottom of the Ladder is ebooks and at the top is One on One Coaching. so the ladder would look like this starting from the Top ($$$) to Bottom($) One-to-One Coaching ($$$$$$) Workshops ($$$$$) Teleseminars ($$$$) Video($$$) Audio ($$) ebooks ($) I agree with this methodology mainly because of the convenience factor and value from the customers point of view.
