Easier said than done to the average person. I certainly do not want to be average and neither should you. Each of our daily conveniences, the telephone, the newspaper, and the internet was first imagined by someone. "To Think Is To Create." Before we can create what we want, we must be able to see it in our mind first. However, our thoughts are negative, we will create those as easily, if not more so, than our positive thoughts.
So each day I will focus, as humanly possible, on only those thoughts which will serve me. I will only focus on those thoughts which manifests abundance of wealth, love, and compassion.
Pat:
If thoughts are things and everyone manifests, you might be thinking ya right. I know I did for years. It sounds so odd but if you look around you, you will see this. Any manmade object any business started as a thought that turned into a thing. And whoever has thought brought you that thing has earned a small fortune. Some thoughts are just richer than others.
You see everyone thinks and has thoughts. Many have heard that Edison found over 10,000 ways not to make a light bulb. I would guess many of Edison's friends and/or colleagues thought the light bulb would never happen, it was just some crazy idea. So do you think if Edison listened to the doughting friends or his own doughts, you and I would still be in the dark? No, Fred Smith, Ben Boon or Larry the Cable guy would have their name attached to the light bulb and the bank account that went with it.
Henry Ford said this, if you think you can you are right, if you think you can not you are right. If your thought is legal, moral and ethical run with it. A few thought's to think about. Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Amazon, Yahoo and Google, all started as a thought or thoughts. If you can see it in your mind, you can have it in your life if you follow the thought through.
Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right.

- If any of you have read Jack Canfield's Success Principles or Robert Allen & Mark Victor Hansen, Enlightened Millionaires, you will understand how these great concepts come about.
Go back to the original text on Masterminding which is Napolean Hill in Think & Grow Rich. While their are many Mastermind groups out there right now, they arent really true to the original philosophy. In its purest form a mastermind group, or inner circle is a group dedicated to one goal, one cause and they all utilize their personal connections and resources to accomplish it.
I think if you really wanted to creat a 'next best thing' you need to find people to join your inner circle. STaff, friends, suppliers, mentors anyone that can dedicate some time to working on it, launching it and reaping the benefits.
I think doing one online would be great..who else would be interested?
how much for a franchise fee?

There is no easy answer to this question. Things to consider:

The sizeof the Franchise
Clent base
Expected Turnover
Intellectual Property costs (recoup)
Number of Franchises
Number of employees
Original Set up costs
Franchise admin costs
An example: A franchise that I was involved in setting was to a simple "lawn mowing/home repair" franchise. The Franchise included national/local advertising - preparation of client lists - general admin - central accounting etc
The Franchise involved 300-500 clients - and an annual turnover of about $300,000 . The annual franchise fee was $30,000.

Excellent points.
Number 10 about making enemies is one I never thought of before. I imagine there are several ways a blogger can go about this: writing something very controversial, attacking another blogger (for whatever the reason), etc.
Do you have any experience with this tactic?

Forum Referral Program

Have you ever thought about inserting a "Referred by" field into the forum sign up process? This field could help track the sign ups that have resulted directly from a forum member inviting someone to join.
Under the user profiles you could also include a "Number of referrals" field that shows how many members a particular user has referred to the forum.
You could then run a competition every month for the highest number of referrals but then again you would prefer quality not quantity.
