The One Minute Millionaire AHAS
In their book "The One Minute Millionaire", Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen begin their journey with us as readers by first giving us a foundation which they call the 24 Principles of Wealth or affectionately the "Ahas". In this multi-part series, network marketing entrepreneurs Pat Idoux and Bryan See will describe, implement, and then share their results from two very different perspectives. Using the "Behavioral Matrix" as presented by Brian Klemmer (Klemmer & Associates), Pat is self identified as "Promoter" and Bryan as an "Analyst". The other behaviors are "Controller" and "Supporter".
For those unfamiliar with the "Behavioral Matrix", we will simply summarize the traits of each. For those who have not studied this or similar programs, we expect that the reader will relate quickly and recall similar experiences relating to co-workers, family, lovers, and friends.
The Formal Dominant behavior or "Controller" likes organization, challenges, competition, money, positions of authority, winning, and being decisive. They dislike dishonesty, tardiness, procrastination laziness, cheaters, the mundane, or the boring. They are task oriented people.
The Informal Flow With or "Supporter" likes affection, piece, approval, touching and hugging, chocolate. They dislike conflict, intimidation, unfaithfulness, deadlines, pressure. They are relationship oriented people.
The Dominate Informal or "Promoter" likes action, movement, spontaneity, money, parties, and positive people. They dislike rules, structure, authority, negative people, slowness, and budgets. They are split relationship/ task with more emphasis on the relationship.
The Formal Flow With or "Analyst" likes neatness, organization, respect, structure, details and data, systematics, and lists. The dislike wasting time, spontaneity, being pushed, surprises, disorganization, and conflict. They are split task/ relationship with more infuses on the task.
Bryan and Pat are going to explain what the "Ahas" mean from our opposing points of view. You can get the Aha's from The One Minute Millionaire by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen. The behavioral matrix is from If How-To's Were Enough We Would All be Skinny, Rich and Happy by Brian Klemmer as well as the Personal Mastery Seminar from Klemmer and Associates. So let's have some fun with it and see if you can pick out the different styles.
Please continue to follow our multi-part series has we each define the 24 "Ahas" and then describe our experiences incorporating them into our lives. We are thrilled to share our ups and downs so that others might be inspired to live the life of an "Enlightened Millionaire".

Re: Do Articles For Businesswomen need to be written differently
- One of the best books ever written to illustrate this point beautifully, half the book is written in a story style and then the same thing is written again in more of a text book style.
The book is The One Minute Millionaire by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen.
Quite different and I am sure that each half appeals to different people in different ways.

Books for Women Entrepreneurs
- There's a thread for good books in the Resources folder, but it doesn't target books for businesswomen particularly, so I figured I'd start such a thread here.
It doesn't matter how successful you are in your business - it's always possible to learn something new.
In subsequent posts I give Table of Contents and brief descriptions for various titles - most of them devoted to the businesswoman - and sometimes a review. If anyone else has read a review, or has read the book and found it useful, please comment!

Marketing vs Web Optimizers vs Usability
- Hi BigJim22,
I must be honest - I haven't really read a lot of Seth's articles on web site strategies.
What I have found though is that there always seems to be a three way conflict between marketing ideas, SEO strategies and usability issues when doing web development. The secret is to balance between the ideal situation for each of these. Since a website needs to be found, visited and acted upon we need a strong combination of marketing, SEO and usability to be successful. It's something we struggle with constantly at Last Minute Training and I'm sad to say - we still haven't found the right combination.
