Only 2 Steps Are Needed for Traffic Exchange Marketing Success

Most people who surf traffic exchanges as a fast way to get traffic to their sites simply don't understand how to make traffic exchanges work in their favor. They spend hours clicking for credits and then they point those credits to pages that simply don't convert...

Or, if they convert in other contexts, they certainly won't convert on traffic exchanges.

This is a pity because there are many excellent traffic exchanges out there and there are only 2 steps that you need to implement in order to run an effective traffic exchange marketing campaign with decent conversion rates. 1.Don't Sell - Do Build

The single biggest reason why people experience poor results on traffic exchanges is because they are trying to sell a product to a complete stranger in just a few fleeting seconds.

My advice is: Forget your products, get rid of your affiliate links, get rid of the long sales page, and get rid of the videos. With most exchanges you have between 6 and 20 seconds to get a response from your page viewer. This means that they are not going to make a purchase simply because they don't have time to read a long sales page even if they want to, and they certainly don't have time to listen to a 30 second video. Of course, you might strike lucky and get the one TE surfer in 10,000 who does stop surfing in order to read your sales copy AND THEN follows through with a purchase, but that is not a sound basis for a consistent traffic exchange campaign.

So, stop trying to sell. Instead, try to get them onto your mailing list. Once they are on your list, you have all the time you need to make a sale or refer them to another website. To get the prospect onto your list, create a very basic splash page. Splash pages have proven to be much more effective than traditional landing pages because they load extremely quickly and they get to the point immediately.

To create an effective splash page, it is important to be as minimalistic as possible to ensure a fast load time. With only 20 seconds alloted to your page, you can't use a page that takes 5 or 10 seconds to load. Your page should an eye-catching heading, 4-7 bullet points of why to join your list, and your opt-in form. It is best to give away something (ebooks are most common) to further entice a surfer to sign up for your list.

2.Upgrade and Create a Downline

If you are going to put in the effort to successfully utilize traffic exchanges, then upgrading your traffic exchange accounts make sense. These upgrades are normally fairly inexpensive and give you more credits to work with.

Most traffic exchanges allow you to create a downline of referrals. From this, you will receive credits based on how much each member of your downline uses the exchange. Since your list is built from people who are already using traffic exchanges, it makes sense to try and cross-promote additional exchanges for them to use. Once you have built a large enough downline, you will no longer need to do any surfing yourself because your downline generates enough credits for you to use. Once you have promoted additional traffic exchanges to your list, you can then move on to your actual products.

Traffic exchanges are not ineffective if used properly, in fact they can be an excellent way to build a list. By using exchanges as a list building tool instead of a sales tool, you will quickly find out how effective they can really be. Effectively using traffic exchanges isn't a complicated process. All you need to do is create a splash page to build a list and then cross-promote other exchanges to your list in order to build your downlines.

CRM Options CRM Options - Greetings When I was working within a virtual team we used FreeCRM, it was an easy to access repository for all the information on our clients and how the business was going that any of us could check at any time. One of Australia's leading Web Development companies uses Zimbra an Open Source email/calendar application which is a great alternative to Microsoft Exchange. However it does cost money for a commercial licence but could definitely work out cheaper than a Microsoft Exchange solution depending on your business.
Re: All the Secrets to Getting a Lot of Traffic Using Google AdW Re: All the Secrets to Getting a Lot of Traffic Using Google AdW - Thanks for the response, Zeke. The product review idea is a good one, I think. Tanny, here's what I do to promote TrafficSwarm: I have accounts on about ten other traffic exchanges and I use them to promote my main website, a squeeze page or two AND TrafficSwarm. I also promote the traffic exchanges on each others sites and I now use ALL the banner and text credits for Traffic Exchange or other exchanges. People who surf traffic exchanges are more likely to sign up to another traffic exchange than anything else! Even with a few pro accounts, I think it is still cheaper than PPC and once you have tweaked the system it is probably more productive as far as recruiting for TS is concerned!
Re: What are your May Goals? Re: What are your May Goals? - Thanks Evan! I just changed one of my business goals from setting up a video site on Traffic-Geyser to: "Set up a newsletter email series (let's say 10 messages) on Get Response..." I reviewed Traffic Geyser in the latest episode of "David's Den" on my blog (see sig file), included an excellent video review of Traffic Geyser by John Detlif and decided against taking that particular project any further. Still lots to get done!
Re: Success Re: Success - I study success intently, and would like to share: Here's two excellent and nearly identical success-formulas from a couple of the world's masters. FIRST FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Clear, Definite Purpose 3. Committed Decision 4. Take Action In Faith (Bonus Secret Sauce: 5. Repeat Consistently) I made a video about this, but am not allowed to link it yet. Google "Ryze Success Steps" for it. Oh, and this is Napoleon Hill's (Master Of Success Laws)'s Formula. SECOND FORMULA: 1. Passionate Desire 2. Understand It Is Already Done (Faith) 3. Relax & Allow It To Unfold (Go about your life calmly) This one is courtesy of Abraham-Hicks (inspiration for the movie The Secret). Hope that helps!
Re: Drop out Billionaire Re: Drop out Billionaire - I reveived Bill Bartmann's DVD "9 Steps To Achieve Any Goal" as part of my monthly pack from Success University a few months back. It is a great presentation. I've watched it several times but not for a while so I'll view it again in the coming week. He is one of the greats. Like the best success mentors, he speaks with authority because he has come through much tribulation. His program sounds like a great bargain at $100 a year.
