It was just a couple years ago when I first ventured into the online world of article writing and article marketing. It wasn’t easy at first. But through perseverance the success finally came. And it will happen to you too! In this article I’ll give some of the shortest and easiest methods to get you there without all the mistakes I made.

Basically I had not written much of anything since finishing high school. But due to an auto accident and a very long recovery period, I started to seek another form of generating income for my family. I never was able to go back to the type of work I once had. Article writing does involve work. The work is as simple as writing one article a day. I know what your thinking. Is that all I have to do? Well, basically yes that’s it. In a year that’s 365 articles. If you can write two a day, that’s 730 articles after a year.

The article’s you’ll be writing only have to be 350 to 550 words. That’s about one sheet of type written words. Of course you’ll have to pick your keywords and have to write about something that interest you and your reader’s. You see there’s really not many online businesses that you can start for less than a hundred dollars. One of the best places to submit your articles is Ezine Articles. They’re one of the most popular and most widely used directories.

Publisher’s will pick up your articles, then publish your articles on their websites or ezines or any number of other uses. You may even get one of your articles picked up and placed in a magazine. That would really get your name out there. You just really can’t tell how far and wide one of your articles may go! There’s one thing for sure, when you write an article and it has a chance to being circulated all over the world for many years to come.

So you can see…how submitting one or two articles a day can mushroom your information business into a word-wide scope. Submitting articles is just one avenue. You can take that same article and repurpose it into a dozen or so other vehicles. Like audio, video, hard cover books, e-books, soft cover books, teleseminars, webinars and live seminars. See what I mean? That very same information can be repurpose into many different formats.

It will take you some time to get all your systems set-up to working for you. Once you do get it all set-up, your articles will keep working for you night and day. They don’t eat, they don’t sleep, they don’t go on vacation and you don’t ever have to give them a raise! I call them my little oil wells. They just keep pumping email addresses to my auto-responders service of choice.

All the auto-responder services charge about the same cost. Speed will come to you after awhile. At first it took me about three hours to write one article. However, through practice my time now is about 30 minutes per article. As you can see if you wanted to, you could knock-out about four articles in two hours with a little practice.

By far to publish articles and by writing articles, is one way to internet success that worked for me and will work for you too! The first year on the internet was a total waste of time and money. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Stick with writing articles. In a year or so you’ll have a profitable business!

Re: How can I promote my site? - Hey, Since your site is a video sharing site, I would suggest you to use Chill .com it will be really helpful I can assure if used effectively. Try to bookmark each of your video URL on top social bookmarking sites and share in social networks. Apart from that you can also write few articles related to the video say 2-3 and submit to top article sites like Ezine Articles, Articles Base. Make a guest post in a related niche blog and frame a interesting post with catchy title and in the end you can mention how will it be useful watching the video to understand and post the link.
