How To Increase Your Sales On eBay To Make More Money
First of all you must understand the way
that people search for goods on eBay. It is very important as this information
leads to where, in eBay, the prospective buyer ends up and eventually where
they are more likely to spend their money.
It doesn’t matter who the buyer is, where
he or she comes from or what they are looking for; they will all use the search
toolbar to find their products. Therefore it is worth doing a bit of research
on the way people search for goods as they will more than likely use general
terms to find the product that they are looking for.
If you want people to end up in your store
or auction it is important for you to find out what these general terms are, so
it´s worth spending some time using the search bar to see what happens. It´s
also worth asking friends and relatives what they would type in the search bar.
When you have an idea of what people are
typing in, it will help you come up with a name and a description for you to
use on your products. The more words that are used from your research, the more
likely it will be that people end up on your page.
Take your time with your research to make
sure that you get it right. This will put you way ahead of your competitors and
guarantee your success and it will help you to make more money from eBay.
Hopefully you now have a good idea of what
words you want to use in your title and product description. Make sure that you
spell them correctly, but remember you only have 55 characters, so use the
space that you have carefully and use as many of your research words as you can.
But remember that they have to be readable and make sense, so don´t overdo it.
There will be some obvious key words that
you should use related to the product that you are selling and there are
keywords that professional buyers look for such as, “free shipping,” “lot” and
“no reserve,” as well as words like, “wholesale,” “free,” “excellent,” “new”
“special offer,” but be sure to only use words that apply to your product.
Now make a list of all the keywords that
you have. You will find that you cannot use them all. Because if you have done
your research well, you will find you have too many to include in your title
and description of your product. Priorities your list, and pick only the best
ones to include in your description and the ones most fitting to your product.
If you have other products to sell you will
need to follow this for each and every product, so that you will have multiple
products and descriptions and you will have multiple listings, further
increasing your chances for making money on eBay.
Here´s to your success,
