The secret of a good blog lies in its content; It is the content and the key words that time and again attract potential customers. Good blog content literally means putting something different on every blog.

Really good blog content is not impulsive, it is content that has been thought out, and properly researched. You cannot treat the blog as an experiment and then expect it to work for you. The whole idea is to mean business, and to make your presence felt online, as well as to eventually make money from it, so therefore you have to ensure it performs the way you want it to.

The Importance of an attention grabbing title

If you want to make some money from your blog, then first of all you must get the attention of your potential audience, so you should not underestimate the power of an attention grabbing title. The title has to reach out and grab your target audience in order for you to make money.

The title of your blog needs to make an immediate impact on the reader, particularly if you are hoping to get free traffic from the search engines and social bookmarking sites; also you will have to do some keyword research to find out what search terms people are tapping into their computers.

It is also a good idea to ask family and friends for ideas on what people type in when they are searching for a particular product, and ask them for their honest opinion. A well written blog post can make all the difference in the world, as to whether you will be successful or not, especially if you are hoping to make a full time income out of your efforts.

A good post on your blog is about being original with your content, but mainly be yourself speak your mind, say what you think and don’t just go along with what everybody else is saying. Develop your own style, and this will set you apart from others and then hopefully you will get a loyal following that will from time to time spend money with you. It is also important to include your photo on the blog. People will feel like they know you, this helps to build trust and people will spend money with people that they can trust

Build your business steadily

Do one job at a time and don´t rush into building too many blog´s at once. This is where too many people make the mistake of trying to do too much where nothing gets completed and you will end up with the impossible job of keeping up with it all. It is better to have just one good blog with a really good content and you will start to earn some money. But remember Rome wasn’t built in a day, it does take time and you have to be patient.

It is better to make one or two quality posts a week, than just to put out posts for the sake of getting more content on your blog. Remember quality always wins over quantity, and it is easier to write about things that you know about, so it´s a good idea to blog about that, perhaps a hobby or a sport, choose something that you can be passionate about and it will show in your blog. What better way to make money can you think of than that?

I do this type of research but for another niche and I use: Google Blog Search, Technorati Blog Directory and Twitter search. Try to use specific key words. Good luck, I know it's not an easy job.
Re: Best Internet Marketing Strategy - Hi David, I agree about the Blogosphere. You have a smaller group that Blog, but do so on the premise that they think they should, but have never really considered the purpose of their Blog. Then I think there are a few SEO or Internet Marketing types that see Blogging as just another link building strategy. But the largest group of Bloggers, tend to be people who enjoy writing and discussing their topics of interest. Blogging is good for link building, but the true Blogger is a breed apart from the rest. They want to dialog, to debate, to have feedback and they are very willing to link to other worthwhile conversations that are relevant to their topic. I agree with you. These group of Bloggers obviously are passionate about their writing and together, they create huge conversation trails interactive and travel from Blog to Blog. But the evidence is clear with this group that loves what they write about. With comments enabled on a Blog and having a Blog tuned to a specific purpose you already have the evidence of original Social Media.

The narrow nature of this target audience search is what's causing the difficulty and why I'm trying to branch into other options. I've suggested some other options to the author and am trying some new things - will see how it works. Shri
Victoria's Secret - Too Sexy? - This will be upsetting for some men. I just heard a report about Victoria's Secret and it was interesting. Their sales were down drastically in the 4th quarter of 2007 and the report was about how they are thinking the company has gotten too far away from the heritage that made it the blockbuster company it is. They are thinking the ads etc have become too sexy and the plan (at the moment) is to make the ads more sophisticated. That would be like the Super Bowl commercial which was very tasteful, but very different from any Victoria's Secret I've seen lately. Who do you all think the current sexy ads are targeting? I think its the men that they hope will buy these items for their female significant others. I hate to give Omarosa any kudos - but most women aren't "sold" on an item by an ad of a near naked sexy woman. Shri
