How to start off fresh each day

How to start off fresh each day

Maria Robinson said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense.” As you may have gathered by now, it becomes imperative that you start a new day fresh. And why? Because starting over fresh everyday brings along with it clearer vision, renewed commitment, positive energy and no stress. The question is whether you are applying this principle to your everyday living or not. Are you?

Let’s take an example of dirty laundry. At the end of each day, you have dirty clothes to be put away to launder. Right? Imagine how you would feel if you were to wear the same clothes again the next day. Awkward? Wouldn’t you be uncomfortable for that whole day? Or worst yet, imagine you not taking a shower for a couple of days and then hitting the bed, wake up the next morning and go off to work without taking a shower again. What happens? In your aftermath, you leave behind stinking bed sheets, stinking clothes and stinking BO. Everything about you would stink! That’s exactly the point. Now imagine you were to bring along the dirty thoughts and stress of yesterday, when you start off the next day? How would that make you feel? At ease or stressed out? As it’s obvious, by bringing along the dirt of yesterday you are muddying your own waters. You are setting yourself up for stress. And then you complain that the day was horrible. Isn’t that so?

Now how does one start off fresh each day? After trying out many different methodologies I have managed to shortlist these techniques that work best for me.

Step 1: The first thing I do after the alarm bell goes off is to meditate for at least 20 minutes while still on the bed. I personally practice the Silva Method, but you can choose your own style. Benefit: Helps me to relax physically and mentally by getting into my alpha level.

Step 2: After the usual bathroom chores, I get into 20 minutes of cardio exercise. Benefit: This helps me get my heart rate up which helps in purifying the blood and keeps me energetic the whole day. And of course, keeps me from adding new layers of fat.

That’s how I start my day, which helps me to forget about yesterday. Marianne Williamson said, “Our past is a story existing only in our minds. Look, analyze, understand, and forgive. Then, as quickly as possible, chuck it.” So from this day forward start chucking out your yesterdays and live today as if it’s the best day of your life.

Adios and God Bless.

Finding a Fashion Design Mentor in Canada Finding a Fashion Design Mentor in Canada - Hi, I am a fresh new entrepreneur, and I see the need for a mentor, as fashion design is a very competitive and expensive market; I want to avoid as much error as possible. If you know of any areas where I can start looking for a virtuous candidate; please reply. Along side a mentor I am open to any tips of starting a fashion business. Thanks Tabitha
Re: Tactics for Blog Traffic Re: Tactics for Blog Traffic - Hi members, This is a great post and worth discussing our various viewpoints. The common thread is content, search engines thrive on fresh content which I liken to a log fire. If you put an occasional log on then the fire will keep going but only just and will eventually fizzle out. Plenty of fresh content (or logs) will keep the fire blazing and will be seen more easily by the search engines so keep those fires burning folks, LOL. regards, Mal.
Re: UPDATES: New Campaign! New Layout! New Ideas! Re: UPDATES: New Campaign! New Layout! New Ideas! - Hi Ringo, I like the new layout and I am also pleased to see that Internet marketing now has a section of its own - that is something I've wanted to see here for some time. The other sections you have added/modified sound interesting too, so a nice fresh start for 2010. *** Just one thing though - when I click on a smiley icon, I simply get redirected to the TOP of the forum page. Happily, the message is still there when I scroll back down to it, but without any smiley in it. Cheers, David H
Re: What are you doing if o have a bad day? Re: What are you doing if o have a bad day? - Some days I just feel like doing absolutely nothing. It doesn't mean I'm having a bad day or anything, but I just don't feel like doing anything productive towards my business. In fact, mornings are the worse for me. I work much better in the evenings for some reason. If things just didn't seem to go right for me, or I felt that everything I'm doing isn't getting me anywhere, I'll just take a break from it and do something else. Watch TV, work out, play video games, or just call it a night and start fresh in the morning. I do most of my thinking when I'm laying in bed, so the latter option usually works best for me. Bad days are going to happen, so there's no sense in trying to avoid them. I say embrace them! There's always something to learn even through failure. Don't look at it as failing, but learn what to avoid or change in what you're doing to become a success. Thomas Edison is a perfect example of this.
Re: This ones a winner Re: This ones a winner - First of all, congratulations! I am sure you'll be successful in this fresh start although you don't have to spend that much for developing your website. There are lots of successful blogs out there who have either designed the sites themselves or hired a professional freelancer for a reliable price and service. I suggest you look through oDesk and post that web design and programming job. Specify what you need by modeling some of your "wanted" blogs which is of similar niche and have that staff decide for the script. Also, you can have him/her to customize free premium Wordpress theme if you've got Wordpress in place. One staff can do that and you could only pay them for $300 per month working for you full time so they maintain the whole development and SEO.
