Meaning of Wisdom – It’s a 3-step process

In order to truly understand what he meant you have know the true meaning of wisdom. Over the years I have been harboring the wrong notion on wisdom. I was under the impression that knowledge is wisdom. And I am sure that there are millions of others who think the same way. Thanks to Dr. Myles Munroe, I got the true meaning of wisdom the other day. I felt so enlightened and free at this newfound knowledge. And I am sure you the reader will find it same too.

Meaning of Wisdom – It’s a 3-step process

Over the years I have been harboring the wrong notion on wisdom. I was under the impression that knowledge is wisdom. And I am sure that there are millions of others who think the same way. Thanks to Dr. Myles Munroe, I got the true meaning of wisdom the other day. I felt so enlightened and free at this newfound knowledge. And I am sure you the reader will find it same too.

Wisdom is a 3-step process. Let me explain it to you. There are 3 words closely related to each other but are not properly understood. They are knowledge, understanding and wisdom. People generally think that they are the same; I was on the same boat too. But here’s the real meaning of each – Knowledge is Information, Understanding is Comprehension and Wisdom is Application.

In short, wisdom is knowledge that is understood and applied! It’s a 3-step process – Gaining Knowledge, Understanding it and then applying it. You can have knowledge and not apply it. You can have understanding of the knowledge, but not apply it. For true wisdom to present itself, you need to follow all 3 steps. A doctor smoking a cigarette is unwise, because he has the knowledge, has the understanding of the effects of smoking, but is not applying it.

So the starting point of wisdom is gathering of knowledge. The next step is to ensure that you have the skills and capacity to understand that knowledge. And finally, you need to garner the courage to apply it in practical life.

So the next time you come across a grey-haired man, reserve your judgment on whether the person is wise or not. Observe his actions, and his true wisdom will be laid bare. Sandra Carey once said, “Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living; the other helps you make a life.” So true!

Meaning, are they actually looking for what you have to offer, and if so, are they finding it. Proper keyword research and testing will help you bring in targeted leads from the search engines. God's Diet - Very interesting, from both a health perspective and a marketing perspective. Growing up Mormon we were raised on The Word of Wisdom. No coffee, no tea, no junk food, no smoking, no drinking..etc. All good. But I think its harder and harder to find true, pure food these days. And lets face it, I'm not likely to start growing my own produce or keeping cattle..
Going Global - johnburns - Do you have all the "accounting" done for these territories? Meaning, do you have an established price point? Who is going to pay the set-up fees? Who is responsible for the registration fees, etc.? Are you willing to pay for it out of the "cost" of the territory, or increase the cost by those factors?
Re: Twitter, Social Networking: What's Your method? - I still have yet to jump on the Twitter bandwagon. I see it talked about EVERYWHERE all the time, so I know I am probably missing out on something, but I just can't see the point in it. I've thought about signing up just to check it out for myself. Maybe I will do that now that I took the time to write this. Does anyone actually get traffic from Twitter that is worth spending all the time on there? Meaning does it convert into money in some way, or is it just traffic for the sake of getting traffic?
Re: HOw to market a B2B consulting company - Hi, Hopefully I am understanding what you do but here is my idea. If there was some legal way to do this I think it would be a great viral video both online & offline. You would most likely have to fake it to be legal: Create a few videos of you & your team "accesses unauthorized facilities." Meaning the company never authorized you to do it but you are breaking in to prove how bad their security is. I am sure I saw this is in a movie or on TV but I think it a viral video like this would catch on and could lead into some inexpensive advertising. Jeff
