A site wide link will appear on each page of your website. You will often find them at the bottom of the page, your visitors must scroll all the way down to see these links. This sort of link is good for your homepage. If you happen to have a contact page, or a page where visitors can order product from you, it's a good idea to use this type of link. Additionally, your menu should act as a site-wide link list to guide your users to the pages they wish to see on your website. Every one of your links should have an easily digestible description. Help your visitors by creating a menu that is easy to understand and navigate.
A key part of your HTML design is meta tags. These tags are invisible to your visitors; however, they are essential for delivering information about your website to search engines. Your first meta tags are the most important ones: make sure you select the most relevant keywords. Try using variations of your keyword but avoid overusing or overloading your site with meta tags. It is important to identify which keywords will be most effective to properly use these tags.
The H tag is an HTML code that signifies headings. You would use this tag to mark a particular section of text as more important than the surrounding text. H1 tags will make your text appear large and bold. Meta tags should be used in titles and in paragraphs that contain important information. Include , , and tags in each subheading. Doing this will increase the readability of the page for your users, and it will be possible for search engine spiders to find the location of important content quickly. Be sure to add keywords in your titles.
Seek out better ways to advertise your products through the internet. You need to be sure to explore the many types of techniques that have been proven successful in marketing and SEO. The internet has its one thing once in a while, and websites, pictures or even videos become popular. Viral material is used and shared by large numbers of people. This may be a temporary advantage, but this material can really boost your sales activity while it lasts. You can't know what content will take off and become popular. Just do your best to produce funny and original content, and share it in as many places as you can. Watching viral videos can help you by providing tips for you to use to appeal to users.

- I have two businesses, one with local market and one with global. For local business, I just purchase ads on online directories like kijiji/craigslist and I purchase ads in a local newspaper. For my other online-business, I invest heavily on search engine optimization and social networking.

- Just as their lots of great business books out there, so are there lots of bad books.
I recently checked [i:2dqprtes]The Big Red Fez: How To Make Any Website Better[/i:2dqprtes], out of my local library.
It's a slender book, 109 pages.
On the left hand side of each page is a snapshot of a webpage, on the right hand size the author (Seth Godin) critiques it, telling what is wrong with it.
But, he doesn't show us *his* version of how he'd change that page to make it better.
Yes, some of the errors made have self-evident fixes, but the majority of 'em are stuff I wish he would have expanded on to show how, visually - it should have been done.
It's easy to pick holes in other people's work, it's a lot harder to then put your own work on view for people to critique!
