Entrepreneurial Techniques

Being an effective entrepreneur may be challenging but this does not mean it is impossible. There are a lot of success stories today that would prove any qualms you have about entrepreneurship otherwise. Those who have made it would agree that success is only dependent on how you well you take advantage of presented opportunities. And there are also those who claim that success is reaped out of dedication and diligence. But then again, all of these trains of thought would not bear fruit if the right entrepreneurial techniques were not applied. It’s a good thing that there are people who are willing to share their own secrets to entrepreneurship.

From what I could gather, from online resources and colleagues, the following entrepreneurial techniques have been known to be effective at making the most out of business ventures.

1.) Research.

Entrepreneurship today has just been all about mimicking existent industries (products and services) and selling it as one’s own. This is termed as either entrepreneurial imitation or reproduction. Businessmen should aspire to at least practice entrepreneurial valorization and improve a specific good or service. However, o be able to establish a thriving business, entrepreneurs should be able to launch a product or service that can instigate radical transformations in the business scene – one that would create a need instead of having to address one. Research gives way to the birth of innovative business ideas that are more congruent to current needs and changing times.

2.) Time Management and Prioritization.

Often times, entrepreneurs get overwhelmed with plans and responsibilities that they end up achieving less than what they expect. This is common problem experienced by a lot of people which can be easily solved with time management and prioritization. Every day, we get a new set of tasks. It would help to list them down according to urgency and one by one, cross them out as they are accomplished. This way, you can keep track of what you have and have not done. This technique may be a bit traditional, but it saves a lot of time, money and effort.

3.) Make Adversity A Friend

The thing about entrepreneurship is that you have to make the most of every opportunity. This means treating problems as an occasion for development. Remember that problems will present needs and these needs be the inspiration behind a timely and radical product or service.

4.) Decide and Act

Some entrepreneurs fall into the pit of indecisiveness and end up missing on “money-making” chances. But this slump can be reversed if you can convince your self that it is healthy to take chances. Yes, not all the decisions you make as a businessman is perfect and this makes hesitance understandable. But decision left merely as prospects will not translate into profit no matter how much you modify it. In case you are dealt with a confusing proposition, the best way to come up with a conclusion is to think about “the greater good”. If there is an inkling that some part of your business will suffer, might as well decline the offer and move on.

5.) Get the Consensus

Disagreements will help you formulate better plans and make good decisions. Gathering people’s thoughts and concerns safeguard you from your own biases and predispositions. It also exposes you to more alternatives, thereby making you and your entrepreneurial techniques more adaptable and thorough.

Re: Bad SEO techniques? Re: Bad SEO techniques? - There are few more techniques which also known as the Bad SEO Techniques or Black Hat SEO Techniques. Such as: - Relying on keyword metatags - Purchase Links (From Spamming or blacklisted sites or doing purchase links on high level for site marketing) - Horde Page Rank: This is one of my favorites, because it's one that most webmasters don't understand yet. This is because it changed over the past year or two. The concept people have in their mind is that page rank is a key part of site rankings and linking to other sites "leaks page rank" from your site. However, the world has changed. - Swap Links: Another oldie, but not goodie. Search engines want links to represent endorsements. Swapped links represent barter, and they are trivial to detect. Don't swap links for the purpose of building page rank. It's a waste of your time - Implement duplicate content - Use Session IDs on your URLs - Use lots of Javascript - Implement your site in Flash

I have one question, though. How would one implement Session IDs for a URL, and what benefit would come from doing so?
Re: Cash Comes from Creativity Re: Cash Comes from Creativity - Hi Yinka, Good post and a very Entrepreneurial approach if you like. It is true that with the every day gadgets, services and products that we use, it is easy to look at them just for what they are and not what they could be. We should always be on the look out for ideas that we can explore or existing products that we can maybe improve or re-design and that is also true with Internet Marketing. regards, Mal.

The search engines don't pay much attention to keyword metatags, and using javascript/flash just means the search engines can't "read" it (so if your menu is javascript, for instance, the search engine won't see any keywords you might have in there.)
