Article # 27 Need A Business With No Personal Selling or Convincing Ever?
If
you are like me and hate selling, you are not alone. 85% of people who own a
business hates personal selling or trying to convince their prospect that their
product is the best. So what do we do? How do you stay in business with no
personal selling or convincing ever? Don’t you need customers to keep your
doors open? Of course you do, but chasing your prospects down will not only
make them run; they will rent a jet and fly to another country to your
competition. Ouch! But how can we stop this downward spiral? Attraction
marketing. “Attraction marketing? I have heard of that before, how does it
work?” Well, in simple terms it is like being attractive, with your flashy
bling bling and the opposite sex takes notice as you walk into the room. In
other words, it is letting the customer make the decision to seek you out. And
when they do the seeking; you know they are ready to do the buying too. They
have already convinced themselves that you are the one they need. And how do we
present ourselves above all the rest to get our prospects to find us? That my
friends, is the golden question. The answer lies in the way people behave naturally.
In this world, you have leaders and you have followers. The followers flock to
the leaders, why? They want to be around greatness and maybe learn to become a
leader themselves. So, you need to present yourself and your company as a
leader in your industry. How do you do that? Simple, you solve problems. Find
out what your customers need and what problems they are having, and if you can
solve it or answer their questions you become a leader. They will then seek you
out and if you have products they will buy because they now trust you. See how
that all works? And if you can do this, you will not only stay in business; but
you will never have to sell or convince ever again. A great resource is Mike
Dillard’s book, ‘Magnetic Sponsoring’. Good luck and God Bless!
