Article #23 Looking For A Career Change?

Now you are probably saying, “What? Are you crazy? The economy is falling and you want me to change jobs?” No, I’m saying change your career, your lifestyle and never work for a boss again. You can actually train your mind to be a success! Did you know that the more you repeat something you tend to get it? Remember back when you were five years old, you kept asking your mother for that cookie? “Mommy, mommy, mommy, I want that cookie! Mommy, can I have a cookie? Mommy? Mommy? Mommy!” You were persistent and you got the cookie. Can those same principles work now when you are all grown up? Yes, well sort of, it’s along the same concept. Here let me explain, your subconscious mind “listens” to every word you tell it. Even when you are compaining and especially when you think about it all the time. Your subconscious mind is like you mommy. If you keep repeating it, you will get it. Like all those bills you keep talking about and complaining about. It’s on your mind all the time! So your subconscious mind says, “Ok, we can do that. You are focused on these bills, so you must really ‘desire’ them, so we will send you more.” “Ugh! Oh no!” you say, “That’s not what I want!”

Let’s test this theory then, we will focus on being successful for the next 90 days and see what happens! Sound crazy? Well, I did just that. Every morning, when I woke up, and every evening right before bed I kept repeating these words, “I will have $100,000 dollars in 90 days.” And because you cannot have something for nothing, I added, “And in exchange for this money I will write 40 articles in 90 days.” So, I kept repeating and writing, repeating and writing and so forth.

Now, you may be wondering what happened at the end of 90 days, did it work? Oh boy, did it ever! By the end of 30 days I started to believe myself, and what I was saying and on day 45, I got a check for a refund of a bill I overpaid. Then coincidences like these started happening all the time, and I exceeded my goal in 90 days. You cannot lose. Try it starting today, it works. You can find the story in ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill. Thankyou for reading my story. God Bless.

Re: Require Info on CAD Fed/Prov Grants for Restaurant Start-up Re: Require Info on CAD Fed/Prov Grants for Restaurant Start-up - I know the Ontario government is starting a "Second Career" campaign, full of internship opportunities for new chefs and catering staff. It may be worth your while to research the possibilities with that. It may work itself out to be cheap labor in the form of a grant. Good luck regardless!

Re: Spellcheck? Re: Spellcheck? - [quote="TheAnonymousMan":2f894q6j]When discussing the majority of people I would definitely say that most people hit the "Change" or "Ignore" button without thinking too much about the correct spelling of a word. All bosses are concerned about is getting the report to the Directors meeting on time.[/quote:2f894q6j] That probably depends on what the "majority" are trying to accomplish. I have word set to alert me about misspellings and grammatical problems, so I fix most as I go. But I also add names etc to the dictionary because I get tired of seeing the red and green squiggles when I know the info is right. If you're only going to click "Change" or "Ignore" then why bother to take the time to use spell check????? Business people that I work for want the info compiled in a timely manner and they want it right - which is fine because that's the way I strive to do any project. Sending out a memo, letter, report etc with obvious spelling and grammatical mistakes makes the person and the company look bad as far as I'm concerned. Shri
