There are 7 very crucial things that every new entreprenuer should know before they join or even consider starting an online business.

1. The first important crucial thing has to be a unique product the company has. One or two products that are high in demand in the marketplace that you would have so many orders you cannot possibly fill. This is key for the business to stay in business.
2. The products should be valuable and beneficial to your customers. Something they can use over and over again and therefore pays you a residual income monthly. Very crucial! Do the work once and get paid again and again.
3. Does the online business have a proven marketing system that you can do and teach to others? And does it fit your needs, (i.e. no selling on phones because that isn’t you strong point). Is it also easy to understand?
4. The fourth crucial thing every entreprenuer must know is if the company plans to be around for a long time to come? Do they have any long-term goals? What is their mission and how long have they already been in business? Any success stories?
5. The fifth crucial element to a great online business is global expansion. Does the company plan to grow worldwide or just stay locally?
6. What about the company’s generosity? Do they give to any charities? Do they help others in a crisis like the Haiti disaster for example?
7. And the last crucial thing that every entreprenuer should know about the company they join online is how is their support system? Do they really get back to their members in a timely manner when questions arise?

Forum Marketing Yahoo Answers (I need to use more of) SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Bum Marketing or Article marketing P-P-C (Pay Per Click) Marketing Online Directories Hope this helps.
