Here are some effective tips to help you add quality content on your website:

Write content about your website. For example, if your website is about art and craft ideas, write unique content related to this subject.
Creating an FAQ
Create an FAQ with common questions and answers to help visitors understand your site better. You will also have to regularly update this FAQ list as you get more questions from visitors.
Online Contests
Organize an online contest where users can submit their recipes, artwork or anything related to the content of your website.
Tips and guides
To generate quality content for your website you could add tips and guides on how to do certain activities. For example, if your website is about flowers, you can add content that deals with tips on how to take care of a garden, and the like.
Reviewing related products
Another great way to generate quality content for your website is to add reviews of related products. If your website is about cakes and chocolates, you could add review articles of interesting cake recipe books.

- Articles Promotion & Press Release Promotion
- Quality Directories promotion
- Contribution to Blogs, Forums
Black hat techniques can reduce website strength in the search engine and can treat site as spam that could be following.
- Keywords Stuffing.
- Hidden Links
- Maximum Links of unknown sites.

This is great advice and a good way to build links with some quality to them. There is no point in having links that have no value as it does not help your website in any way.

Quality links stick and they are looked at more favorably by the SE's so they are definitely a lot better to get. Of course, they are more difficult to get but worth the effort.
