This can mean different things depending on the type of product you are selling. In this article let's talk about how to achieve a maximum affiliate payout so you are making as much money as you possibly can.

1. Some affiliate marketers prefer to promote pay per click programs such as Google Adsense. This is an easy way to make money, but not necessarily the best way to achieve a maximum affiliate payout.

With Google when somebody clicks on an ad they leave your website and go to the website of the advertiser. You have lost that visitor and probably will never see them again.

The only way you can make more money with PPC affiliate programs are to have a high number web pages with ads on them. If you're willing to do that it is possible to earn a lot of money with this form of affiliate marketing.

2. Cost per action programs are a little better in that you can make more money per lead than you would per click. There actually are people earning seven-figure incomes promoting these type of programs.

A way to achieve a maximum payout in this type of program is to build an email list and then promote CPA offers to them. This allows you to promote more offers in the future and continue to make money on your subscribers.

When they make a purchase they are redirected to a one time offer page which allows them to upsell and eran an even larger commission. Once you have that person's name you can also follow up and sell a high dollar back end product earning you even more money.

Product funnels are a great way to achieve maximum affiliate payouts because you are earning as much income as you possibly can from one customer.

4. Sell residual income programs and get paid over and over. Even affiliate networks such as Click Bank now offer recurring commission programs.

Rather than just make money from making one sale you can actually earn money every month that your prospect stays active. You see this in programs such as membership sites where there is a recurring billing that you are earning commissions on.

There are pros and cons to Affiliate Marketing, just as there are to any business. As has been suggested, he best policy is to proceed with caution and do some research before jumping in. As Carol has recommended, this topic thread in the EvanCarmichael.com forum is the ideal place to ask questions and seek further input on available Affiliate Marketing programs. If a person is serious about building an online business and is interested in Affiliate Marketing plans, they should approach the process as they would any other form of business. Research, ask questions, compare opportunities, participate in forums on online business and Affiliate Marketing. GT :-]
Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - You made some very good points here Jeff and I agree with you, Affiliate Marketing should not be something that you concentrate all your efforts into. As i said earlier I have learned a lot with Affiliate Marketing and continue to do so, and it has helped me tremendously to understand what I am going to have to do in my chosen niche(s). Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - Hi GT Affiliate Marketing is one of the easier ways to get started making money online, but it does take quite a bit of work before you see any great results as you have to keep promoting constantly. It does teach you one hell of a lot about all aspects of Internet Marketing though as you will need to learn how to write and submit articles, create and maintain a blog, social networking is a great help to affiliates too..the list goes on and on. A good book I'm reading now is "Maximum Achievement: Strategies and Skills That Will Unlock Your Hidden Powers to Succeed" by Brian Tracy as it was a birthday gift from a friend. Tracy's book is helpful in identifying what's important in your life and then setting an action plan to achieve it.
