There is a trick to writing effective affiliate marketing reviews. Before we get to that point we should understand why affiliate marketers write these style of reviews to begin with. Let's analyze the why and how of affiliate marketing reviews.

1. People need multiple exposures to a product before they will actually purchase it. This is certainly true when it comes to affiliate products.

Your initial sale rate per visitor is not going to be very high. If you use an affiliate website for example most people will come to the site and leave without ever making a purchase.

Therefore you need a way to develop multiple exposures to your products. This is where writing affiliate marketing reviews comes into play.

2. The most successful affiliates are those who have a system for selling their products. It starts with creating a landing page that you give away something of value in exchange for your prospects name and email address.

3. Once you have the prospects name and email address they are now in your autoresponder. They should be redirected to an affiliate marketing review page where you talk about the pros and cons of that specific product.

In the past these used to be considered more pre-sell pages that were designed to warm the prospect up. However today these are more effective if they are actually written as a review of the product.

4. When writing the reviews you need to be honest and list everything that you know about the product. Therefore the best affiliates are those who purchase the product and learn everything about it before writing a review.

Theses kind of reviews are not effective if all you do is list all the positives of a specific product. Therefore you want to include some negatives if you actually find them.

These make the reviews more believable and enhance your credibility to the reader. This is all done on an affiliate marketing review web page that the visitor is sent to after they sign in to your opt in list.

5. The advantage of having a list is that you can continue to follow up with your reader. You can even write additional reviews on a specific product. You can also drip individual pieces of information on your prospect and over time when they are ready to buy they will buy that product from you.

These are several useful tips on affiliate marketer reviews and why and how to write them. The most successful affiliate marketers develop a system for capturing prospects, presenting their products in the form of reviews, and following up in the future for even more affiliate sales.

There are pros and cons to Affiliate Marketing, just as there are to any business. As has been suggested, he best policy is to proceed with caution and do some research before jumping in. As Carol has recommended, this topic thread in the EvanCarmichael.com forum is the ideal place to ask questions and seek further input on available Affiliate Marketing programs. If a person is serious about building an online business and is interested in Affiliate Marketing plans, they should approach the process as they would any other form of business. Research, ask questions, compare opportunities, participate in forums on online business and Affiliate Marketing. GT :-]
Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - Hi GT Affiliate Marketing is one of the easier ways to get started making money online, but it does take quite a bit of work before you see any great results as you have to keep promoting constantly. It does teach you one hell of a lot about all aspects of Internet Marketing though as you will need to learn how to write and submit articles, create and maintain a blog, social networking is a great help to affiliates too..the list goes on and on. Re: Affiliate Marketing - Open for Discussion - You made some very good points here Jeff and I agree with you, Affiliate Marketing should not be something that you concentrate all your efforts into. As i said earlier I have learned a lot with Affiliate Marketing and continue to do so, and it has helped me tremendously to understand what I am going to have to do in my chosen niche(s). I am also being coached by the same group of mentors as GT and we are all moving forward daily to achieve our ultimate goals. Take care, Carol
